Very easy to use. Very easy to setup. Stays linked with devices.

I am very happy we made this purchase. It makes watching YouTube and Netflix very easy onto your high-definition television. And the picture clarity is fantastic. The only other thing I would do different is to add a little bit of a longer HDMI cord so that you don't have to squeeze your hand between the wall and the television just to get it plugged in to your HDMI port behind your TV. And the screensaver type pictures that change every so often on your TV screen when you have it on are very pleasant to look at as well

I have 2 of these, one on a "dumb" tv and one on a smart tv. Both my TVs are a little older, the smart TV app is out of date and really doesnt not work. This is a great update for those who have a perfectly running TV and want to stream. we use netflix, hulu, and youtube with this and have no issues. Upgraded after our original chrome-cast devices no longer receive updates.

This works really good but I don't like not having a remote but if you don't mind using you phone then this is great

These are amazing if you use Android and Google products. They have gotten faster and more reliable with update but the old ones still work. I wouldn't use it 100% of the time for TV watching, but for casting content here and there and audio playback it's great. Add a Google speaker and you can talk and cast which this really shines. For the money - great value!

We now have streaming TV in the bedroom, due to this small, unobtrusive device. Getting it to work is a bit of a chore at times, as it must be linked to a phone or tablet that has the Google Home app installed, and the speed of your phone or tablet will determine how easy it is to connect and stream. Much cheaper than a "smart" TV and, since you are displaying on the TV whatever you have displayed on your tablet, the entirety of the Internet becomes your playground.

Chromecast works great for people who find it more convenient to control everything via the phone than a remote control. Searching is much easier, because you can type on the phone. Browsing isn't as nice, because you don't get a nice scrollable UI on the big screen. A big bonus is the ability to display Google photos on the TV. It's like having a huge photo frame.

I bought this item as a bundle with the Google home mini, which can be used to control the Chromecast. The build quality is good. Everything is controlled from your phone so no need for another remote laying around. It's easy to setup using the Home app. Always works great for sharing your pics, and videos on a larger screen. Lots of apps work with the Chromecast. I would highly recommend giving it a try!!
