Great for Disney +

Occasionally use it to easily stream YouTube and Spotify, but it's really just a $35 way to watch Disney+ without a Roku tv. You just plug it into the HDMI port in your tv and plug in the power cord and it's easy to set it up using your phone/tablet.

Chromecast To The Campsite -- Soon!

It might take a while to upgrade the firmware. It converts an older dumb tv into a smart one by connecting just to the hdmi port.

The Google Chromecast does, and perfectly at that. This device - the base 2018 model - is designed for screens that display 720p or 1080i. If you have a 4K screen, just get the Chromecast Ultra. Easy. The until allows me to cast videos to my kitchen TV, which is a little 24" 720p LG. I like to watch and listen to videos while I make dinner, so it's perfect. Plus, Google just enabled a feature in Google Home, in which Chromecasts like this can be linked in 'speaker groups.' That's nice. The fit is just right....a 720p TV and this unit. Thanks, Google. Thanks, Best Buy.

Chromecast

I use this in my kids rooms we don't use cable so this is a good way of entertaining them. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a hard time with technology super simple to set up all you do is hook it up to your t.v.

Samsung's newest phones (9 and 10) need to be adjusted before they will work with ChromeCast 3. My Samsung 5 and 7 had no problem and Samsung blogs acknowledge the issue. the six step process involves clearing the cache, cleaning temporary memory and rebooting the phone. Simple, but finding the answer was not.

Best things since the Transistor Radio!

I bought this second one to bring with me when I travel. I simply hook it up to the TV in my hotel room, AirBnB, or guest house, connect to the WiFi, and then can stream all of my videos, shows, and streaming services. Simple setup and easy to use.
