No Home Should Be Without One

Just being able to stream something from my phone to my tv at a moment's notice has been such a blessing. It's also been great for my parents who are older nowadays. It frees them from squinting to see videos on their phones and tablets. Great products, everyone should have one.

Works Well and Accesses Many Apps!

It works just as intended; you can access a ton of apps and have it connect to your tv for simple viewing. My only issue is sometimes it takes quite a while for the Chromecast and my phone to connect so that I can stream movies from my phone. Other than that, we really enjoy it!

One in my living room and one in my basement family room. Although both tv’s are Smart tv’s, I find that it is a lot easier and faster to stream content like YouTube from my I-Pad than to find it on my Smart T.V.

This device allows you to stream video content from your phone to your TV. Set up is easy; just plug in and follow the instructions on screen. I have bought 10 of these as gifts and for personal use. Love the product and design.

Put this in my kids room now they can watch netflix and youtube with out having me to put it on for them .. they just tell it to play what they want to watch in kids room and even set it up so only let them see Kids approved content when its not my wife or my own voice

One of the best devices out there

Being able to cast things from your phone is super useful from pictures to YouTube video to 3rd party apps such as the motortrend app that aren’t available on the Samsung apps. I got it in a bundle for 25 but even the 35 dollar price tag is worth it all day

good product but will fail to connect occasionally

It works fine besides sometimes lagging, disconnecting out of nowhere, and having a delay. Those problems are easy to deal with. A big problem I had was using the product in other houses and hotels. It will become a hassle connecting it to the Tv. The problem always ended up having something to do with the WiFi. But once fixed, the usage was smooth.

Chrome cast is the best

Just download Google home app and set up this device! That turns your phone into the remote where you can cast almost anything to the screen that you connect the chrome cast to. It’s an excellent buy and definitely lasts a long time.

Great Streaming Player

This streaming player is very nice to have especially when my wife wants to share something with me from her phone, she can just send it to the Chromecast. Overall, extremely satisfied.

Reliable Streaming

I'm impressed with how well the Chromecast units have worked so far. Streaming pauses very infrequently and picture quality is very good. I like how easy it is to cast a stream to these units from any device where the YouTube TV app is installed.

Google Does It Again

For myself, I upgraded from a Gen1 product to this latest version and noticed a considerable performance up-tick in 1080p performance (no long waiting while video is buffered and decoded) with faster decoding and much improved wireless connectivity.
