I don't have a smart tv and don't want one since my tv works just fine. I use this device to watch the content I'm streaming on my laptop or phone on my tv. It's simple to use; all you need is Wi-Fi, the google Home app on your phone and a chrome extension on you computer. It's also not stressful to setup.

Works great! Haven't had any problems with it so far. Easy to set up and easy to use. I love that you use your phone as a remote. So there no looking for it unless you lose your phone easily. It works great on all apps I already own 2 one in my room and the other in my living room.

I have a several year old tab e, and I could not stream on my wife's Microsoft dongle. We also had a lot of trouble getting a good stream on my wife's Surface. So we decided to try Chromecast. I got the dongle, and hooked it up. We were both pleased by the quick response and the quality of the stream. The thing works.

This was a great buy paired with the Google Home Mini. It was super easy to set up and I love that I can use voice commands through the Google Home Mini to turn on the TV and watch shows. "Hey Google: Watch Coco on Netflix on the living room TV" makes it so much easier to set something up for the kids thanks to Chromecast

My wife suggested to purchase the Google Chromecast. Unfortunately, I was not sold on the product but I reluctantly purchased it. Actually, the product works as advertised and has brought so family joy to our home. The set-up is very easy and the functionality is so user-friendly. As usual, my wife was right.

This is my 2nd Chromecast. I use them on to cast my tv service onto TVs that do not have set top boxes. Saves me the monthly cost of needing a set top box on every TV in the house. I've been using this feature for years across both satellite and cable service providers.

This new generation of Chromecast works perfectly. The previous model wasn't the best, I got tired of constant disconnect and moved onto the new offering. If you struggle with connection problems of older models, it's time for a significant change and this is your answer.

This is my second Chromecast. Now I have one on each Samsung TV so that I can cast movies from my PC or Ipad. Very Easy to install from App on my iPhone. Just plug into HD port and plug in electric cord and 5 min setup on Phone App. Great product if your TV doesn't have Casting capability.

I mainly bought this Google Chromecast 2nd Edition to stream content from my phone to the TV since I can find more and different media than searching on a smart/roku/amazon TV. Works great for what I needed it for, haven't encountered any issues so far.

I have a total of 4 around the house, I feel like I’m used to the interface and the connection can be faster than going through the smart features on the tv, I have no proof of it, just feels easier for me to cast my phone than to type with the tv remote

I recently subscribed to YouTube TV and purchased this 3rd Gen upgrade to my 1st Gen Chromecast (from 2013) to speed up casting to my TV. This works great for streaming YouTube TV. When not streaming TV, it is a great way to display your favorite photos from Google Photo (or lots of other options) through Google Home.

The easiest way to stream! My TV has screen mirror but I cant use my phone at the same time. I have 3 of these. They are easy to setup and easy to cast to. A quick touch of a button and its done. I can use my phone while streaming without interrupting.

The set up for this Chromecast was quite easy. Plug into an HDMI port and power then go though google home to finish. Couldn’t be simpler. The only thing that threw me was controlling the volume. Turns out I had to use my TV remote for volume control, not my phone or iPad.

It’s Chromecast. I got it to put my laptop screen on a tv in my store. It’s super easy and it works. Not much more to say. Also, pretty impressed with Best Buy and their COVID accommodations. Many things show up the same day they were ordered with text tracking. Awesome.

Works well once installed and setup complete. The initial setup can be a hassle. Use the GOOGLE Home app and not the older apps. Chromecast and the smartphone must use the same WiFi connection. If there's a lot of strong WiFi signals available, it very easy for a WiFi mismatch to sneak through.

I have it in year bought couple ones they they first came out. My parents saw it and been wanting one. I bring it 1 time at their house while thwy babysit our kids while my husband is in tye hospital. Bought some for them and My parents love it. They can cast wherever they are now

I bought 2 of these. One for each room i watch tv in and they work very well. I leave them plugged in 24/7. This way all i have to do os switch on the mobile device which is very easy to do. It doesnt prohibit me from plugging another hdmi cable right next to it, which was one of my problems with the first version.
