The Chromecast works great with my Android phone and I like to watch movies from Netflix. I looked at other solutions. This worked great with my existing Samsung HDTV and my remote control. No extra equipment needed or other useless features I don't need just to watch YouTube or Netflix movies.

When this unit is streaming it works fine. Sometimes it’s hard to get things connected and sometimes the unit has to be unplugged and re-booted. It can get frustrating and you have to be patient. My wife has given up on it and I have to be in charge to get it to work.

I had the first generation Chromecast and this is a huge upgrade! Easy to install as I have Google Home app. Setup on my phone was easy. Tons of features to watch when using Chromecast streaming, add some are free!

This is convenient and super easy to use when streaming any apps from your phone to your tv. I’d recommend it over Apple TV, Riki or Amazon Fire Stick. I’ve owned all of the above and now own google chrome for each of my TVs. It’s a good product at a good price and is easy to use.

Love this purchase. Use for bedroom TV. You can use apps from your phone to apply on tv. I'm not too electronic savvy, a friend came by and hooked it up. Nice price for what it does.

Great to use for all those HD tvs which aren't smart TVs. I love this because I can stream right from my phone, tablet or laptop without any issues. I purchased 2 more. One for my parents and an extra one for downstairs. Will be purchasing another one soon for the kids room.

Where has this been all my life? I know, it's me. If you want to really cut the cord, this is the way to go. Even works with my husband's cheapo phone. Just plug it into the TV, and you never have to get off the couch again. Find what you want to watch, and CAST away...(see what I did there?)

Very easy to set it up and it worked right away. I received the item one day earlier than I was offered so that was super cool. This is my second one and as always it is a great product and this time I got it at half price so no complaints at all.

I got a new (to me) television, and having a Google Assistant made it a no-brainer to get a Chromecast. Setup was plug and play, especially since I have Google Home setup. Being able to use voice commands for certain streaming services is a dream, and even if this was a Smart TV, I'd use it.

I have been using this from 3 years and it works great. I have automated my home with Google Assistant and I can easily play and pause my Netflix on my projector or my TCL tv with voice commands. This allows me to cast my gameplay on TV too from my Android phone

I've owned a chromecast for a while but thought it was time for change, especially to configure easily with our Google Home mini. It's been about a month since having it and there's no issues with it so far. The old model had connectivity issues before which was a pain to reconnect sometimes.

Of course the monitor or TV must have an HDMI output but still works great! I'm still heartbroken that Google decided to stop making the Chromecast Audio but I purchased an audio signal extractor for this Chromecast and it works exactly as I had hoped.

Chromecast is a really fun device. I use it to cast my YouTube music to my television while I'm cleaning, working on a project or entertaining. My primary use is for casting my daily workout videos. I honestly would not be in as good shape as I am, if I was trying to watch them on my tablet. I like Chromecast so much I bought this one as a Christmas gift for my daughter.

Chromecast gets a thumbs up from me for being simple to use and providing a high quality signal. I use it them to stream workout videos in my basement workout space and also to stream Disney+ content to my TV. In both cases I stream from an IPAD.

We had one on another TV and had to buy this one as we found they only work for each device they're plugged into. Works great - do wish you could have 1 for all TV's in the house but I'm sure that'll probably be next (and more expensive!) Reasonably priced easy to use

I love this device easy to use and down to the point. Works great with all devices I've used it with my Tab A, Samsung S9 and my wife's iPhone 8 plus. No issues what's so ever, my only regret not buying the 4K version just a personal choice. This product has crystal clear videos though.

The Chromecast makes it so easy to show your iPhone photos on a large screen TV, to show videos and other materials from your phone on a larger screen and to basically convert your TV into a monitor. Great for the elderly if you want to show an image larger than your phone screen.

This was bought after watching my friend use one on his set up. It made sense to pick one up myself to be able to cast without issue from my devices. I've lived the ease of use since instillation, and with a few (like 2) button pushes I get anything I want on screen. Great product!

It went on sale, so I grabbed it! Easy set up, and a nice clear picture. A nice addition to anyone's entertainment set up. But you should be aware that not everything could cast. I got it to cast the movies on my iPad. It will not work from the iOS environment! But all was not lost. Some Apps and Browsers WILL let you cast from there. So if you don't have one... it's worth it to get one.

Excellent streaming device for my work office and works well with my samsung tablet
