The Google Chromecast has worked great for casting shows and movies from my streaming accounts (e.g., Hulu and Prime Video) as well as from sites like YouTube straight to my TV. Setup was incredibly simple, and it has worked perfectly for what I needed.

Fun to use but doesn’t stream Amazon Prime from Google Home app. If you download separate Chromecast streaming app you might be able to mirror cast from smartphone Prime Video app but haven’t been successful so far. So I still have Roku to stream Amazon Prime but Chromecast streams everything else. Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, HBO Now, etc.

mi tv is old, its a led tv, but its not a smart tv, so this accesory its like a ring to a finger, with this i can transmit videos from youtube, music from spotify even you can transmit webpages with google chrome, this is a must have accesory. with this i don't have to change my tv yet.

Can't afford a smart? As long as you have an hdmi plug in your TV or probably an adapter you have one now. It synchs great with Google home products. I talk to my Google home mini and it streams pretty much what ever I want you this and on to my TV with just using my voice

The google chromecast is very easy to setup. Just download the Home app on your phone and click a few buttons and it does the rest. Using the device is easy, just open your app and hit the cast button and the media will start playing on the screen the device is connected to.

Connects to a smart TV and your Google can turn tv on and play what show you want. Help when you a busy mom trying to do so many things as once. Set parent controls in Google home app and you can have a kid safe distraction while you get everyone ready.

We needed to purchase a streaming device so that we could access Disney+ on our TV. This device plugged right in to the TV. We added the app to our phone - and that was it. Now we can stream Disney+, YouTube, and more on our TV. Price was good as well.

The chromecast I originally had was outdated. This one I recently purchased is awesome! Came with everything I needed to hook it up to the tv. The chromecast makes it so much easier for me to be able to connect to the tv using my phone.

I love chrome casts so much I have one in every single tv in my house. It has actually made me only get internet and no cable in my house saving me loads of money. I watching Netflix and YouTube mainly. An incredible invention definitely an amazing gift and must have in every house hold

This product is a must-have if your tv does not support smart casting So far I have not had any issues with this product the set through the google home app was simple and intuitive. Con: you have to have the google home app to set it up

We got this to help my parents cut the cord on cable. It's easy enough for them to use and never causes issues. At this price it's definitely the best way to max an older TV without built-on smart capabilities.

If you haven't already tried the chrome cast i personally think everyone should have one of these if you don't already have one or if it isn't already built into your tv. I think once you actually try it for yourself. You would want your own too after you realize how easy it is to use.

I have Fire sticks and a Roku throughout the house bu Chromecast is the best for direct solution for streaming from phone apps to a TV that isn't already loaded with smart TV software. I also use it in the media room for the projector and it works well - responsive and sharp picture.

I was looking for something simple to cast my phone and laptop to my TV. Chromecast is simple to hookup and works great. I had it up and running in like 10 min. Quality is based on the device you're casting so don't expect great resolution from a standard laptop.

The Google Cromecast is the best electronic product that purchased in a long time. It turns my tvs into smart tvs and integrates with my google @home assistant and other Youtube TV. I cancelled Comcast cable TV and now only use Youtube TV and I save hundreds of dollars monthly.

Bought this for my dad for fathers day - we had an older version of Chromecast that was bugging out after 3 years of constant usage for some reason. This upgrade worked as expected and now he can stream his dramas and documentaries with no complaints.

Nice streaming device... not great at explaining how it works. It just works. Cast from your phone or home device and it just works. Would like a remote function within the google home app or something to stroll apps with instead of having to download all the apps that are being used.

This is my 3rd google chromecast I've purchased because I love how easy it is to use! I love that I can cast just about anything from my phone or computer to my TV. I don't have "smart" tv's so this is the simplest way to transform my regular tv!

this is a good cheap option for old TV's that are not smart. I use this to watch youtube on the tv and it works great. I'm not sure if this is for all TVs but when I send the cast from my phone it automatically switches to the chromecast from the cable input so its really convenient and simple to use. I wish it was faster to respond as there is a lag, but other then that it works great.

My son watches WWE which is no longer available through his gaming system or our older Blue Ray. We have Chrome-cast built into another TV that sill allows that apps viewing. The new google Chrome-cast was easy to set up and delivered as promised so we did not skip a beat.
