Works well as a basic streaming option. I stream it with my IPhone to an older TV. It is a bit hard to set up as the directions are not very good. It does not tell you that you have to switch your network to the Chromecast device to set it up. However, it streams really well.

Bought this new one to replace my generation one Chromecast and it works great. The picture quality is very good and it is able to stream at much higher speeds than I was before. The screen sharing capability is much smoother now that I am able to connect 5gHz channels.

Its an excellent product for TV’s that does not have casting/mirroring tech. Chromecast is very easy to use with any TV with an USB port, just plug and you are in couple steps its ready to go.

I bought this so that I could see what was displayed on my oculus on my TV. (That's why I only gave it 4 stars, I don't use it for anything else) It works great and was easy to set up. I'm looking forward to using it with my Google Home in the future.

I have a Smart TV but I still use chromecast simply for the sheer functionality and ease of use it possesses. It allows me to cast from my tablet or phone various different streaming platforms. I feel it is a great accessory to any entertainment set up!

Bought this to cast Oculus Quest 2 to our television. Just plugged it in, went through simple setup and started casting the Oculus no problem. Perfect for what I wanted to accomplish.

I cant really give any stars(but I guess I have to) because I bought the wrong thing for what I was trying to do! I wanted an item to mirror my contact from my phone to my TV! This product I guess somewhat does that but its also a streaming device so you have to connect to wifi, Which is what I was trying to avoid!

Awesome Product, bought three of them all total. I bought two for my parents last year, and they are not the best with modern technology, but if my father is able to figure it out and use it, anyone can use this product, Great for streaming

The Chromecast was easy to set up using Google Home on my Chromebook. It casts from the Chrome browser as a specific tab or all tabs. Applications that are enabled like youtube detect the unit and offer it as an option,

Had no problem setting up, or selecting the input. The picture came right up bright & clear. However, it works only in a wall outlet...not an electrical strip. Did not try with it plugged into its own extension cord and then an outlet.

Picture quality and lag are good. Eady to set up and use.

We watch a lot of Netflix and YouTube at my house but not a lot of broadcast tv. The Chromecast makes streaming so simple! You plug it in, wait for the device to find your WiFi, download an app on your phone and you are in business. I love how accessible it is.

Super easy to install and use. Was able to get this same delivery from Best Buy. Now can stream all shows and sports with no delay or issue!! Self High 5, Just Awesome!!

This is a complete all in one tool . Great for streaming a whole myriad of services as well as mirror screening your android phones desktop and your computers. i love what google has developed here and that they will likely to continue to add services to this device.

Put it on a not smart lcd TV since that's all that was wrong with the bedroom TV. Works great. Still working. I did the same on another TV with a fire stick. I prefer the Google. It's easier

The installation/set up was flawless. Operation is seamless. I have an older version at a second home, this version was so easy to set up and use that I might replace the older one - it would be worth the cost.

I decided about 4 years ago to get rid of cable and it's the greatest thing I ever did! I bought a Chrome cast and I just pay for hulu and Netflix I definitely recommend this to everybody who's trying to save money And still wants to watch all of their shows

This Google chrome cast is amazing it lets anyone in our house connect wirelessly to our TV and play music or stream TV shows they like, everyone takes turns playing their favorite show. Also works great to play some music whenever we have parties.

I love this Chromecast!! The smart tv I recently purchased didn’t have the hbo app available (and I NEEDED to watch the last season of Game of Thrones) and the Chromecast was easy to install and set up! I was able to do it and begin watching my show within 5 mins.

I'm always impressed by how great Chromecasts are. They work on Android, iOS, AND PCs (Windows and Mac via Google Chrome). So many apps support the Chromecast ecosystem at this point (Netflix, Youtube, Apple Music, etc.).
