We gave up Directv over a year ago and now stream TV using a Google Chromecast. We have one on every TV in the house. You can stream via YouTube TV, Netflix, Showtime and at a fraction of the cost. Cut the cord . . . get a Chromecast!

I have two which work great for streaming on tv. I do not own a smart tv so I have to use streaming apps on my phone and tablet. It saved me money for watching shows and not paying for expensive cable. All I need is wifi.

Great for streaming 1080p shows, easy to connect, and good for music.

I used to take my laptop to my TV and connect with an HDMI cable but I would have to take the power supply for any long program. Now I can leave my laptop on my desk in my office and send the program to my TV with the Google Chromecast. it is wonderful.

Chromecast continues to be the standard for displaying content from your phone, tablet or computer, onto a television. Easy to use, reliable, intuitive, versatile.... the list goes on and on. Just bought our 2nd & 3rd chromecast for the house.

Needed to purchase this to cast my VR headset to an older TV that didn't have Chromecast built-in. I have yet to be disappointed. Has met my expectations as far as performance and reliability.

I wanted to watch my FB live transmissions on a bigger screen and this does the trick! I can now attend virtual paint classes and watch on my TV instead of my phone or laptop. Pretty easy to connect to TV and to mobile app.

Very easy to use. The only challenge is you need to make sure you're on the same wifi as whatever you're wishing to cast, which isn't a problem for most people. I use it primarily to cast YouTube videos and live streams.

This set up definitely beats using tv apps as you can use your phone apps for easier navigation and frees up your phone at the same time as well, best feature it allows guest to connect and cast without them being on your wifi network.

Works effortlessy and has no slowdown. I had an original chromecast, but was noticing a lot of stuttering/lag issues after many years of use, so I decided to upgrade to the latest. Once I upgraded, works flawlessly.

If you're looking for a cheap product to cash from your phone or screen mirror your phone this product is pretty good for the price. You can stream Netflix Hulu with no problem simply connects to your Wi-Fi connection and you're good to go

I’ve had this product for a while now, and it’s amazing! You just plug it into a TV/Monitor, open google home/assistant, and it’s setup. It’s very easy to stream devices to this device, with one click. Would recommend! One thing though- sometimes it won’t detect your phone through setup, and it’ll sometimes randomly crash.

This gen Chromecast device isn't anything new from past ones. If you've never owned one or you last purchased the original Chromecast and find it useful then grab this one on sale for an upgrade. It's definitely a little snappier and allows you to connect it to your home group with your other Google Home devices. Otherwise, the functionality is all the same.

FANTASTIC! Works GREAT with my all Google Environment love it I have upgraded to the Remote / Google Chromecast with Android TV version but still have this in the guest room.

Very handy to use when you don’t want to pay the high price for cable service. We use it out of the city limits where cable service is nonexistent and are able to get all the channels that we need. Very simple to use

I haven't owned a chromecast since the original V1 and coming form that to this is like night and day. This version is so speedy starting up and I've not had a single problem casting to it, ever. Great reliability.

Chromecast represents one of the greatest steps in recent consumer technology. The ability to fling content from a phone or mobile device to a big-screen TV and control it from the palm of your hand is simple, but great.

Easy to install. It works well. Now we can watch HBO Max. It also works for screen share, but the input devices seem to disconnect or time out and content is lost. Was not able to get the Vimeo to work with it although there should be a connection. Had to screen share. Connection broke after awhile.
