Got my chromecast and i was streaming a tv from my phone. Went to walk my dog and to my surprise the show was still playing even through i had my phone with me during the walk.

My phone was 20 feet away from the TV and the reception was great for a whole NFL game. Together with your phone, it's a great way to convert your low-budget TV into a smart TV.

Smart and simple

I use it to stream music from my pc / smartphone to my Hi-Fi system (a receiver with hdmi input is required which is standard these days). I have another unit that is connected to the tv.

Because my TV itself is a smart TV, I do not use it for YouTube, or Netflix, but it is worthy to have OQ2 casted to TV; so it is a must item with OQ2.

Neat way to stream

I travel a fair amount, and for whatever reason, the Fire Stick wouldn't let me stream Hulu away from my primary residence. However, with a Chromecast you can stream any content from your phone to the TV. This is a great option to be able to watch Hulu away from home.

Great to use when we are not at home and traveling. Easy to hook up and get connected so you are able to watch your favorite shows or listen to music.

It's Gen 3 as I couldn't wait few more days for the launch of Gen 4. Overall more than satisfied with the item, its deliver and best buy response.

Great Product

It's not capable of 4K, but for those interested in UHD there's always the Chromecast Ultra.

It is small in size compare to previous generation chrome cast. Only draw back i can see wasn’t able to cast from apps installed on windows 10 laptop.

Some people may prefer having a remote and that's totally okay. However, your smartphone is a superior remote to anything besides high-end offerings from Logitech and the like. Frankly, if it wasn't for Amazon's Prime Video service not working with Chromecast, I'd use nothing else but this, period.

It’s very easy with Chromecast. I had an older version and upgraded it for enhanced resolution

I love it. Its so much easier to use than Roku

Navigating the program wasn't easy. Then I switched to ChromeCast and really love it. Easy to use, easy to switch back and forth between movies and programs. I highly recommend it.

This chrome cast works perfect. As long as you have accounts with other media services. It has made my home life much better. I definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful gadget, works beautifully when I stream YouTube and Netflix, etc from my smartphone or laptop computer. I am very happy with it.

It allows me to watch all my favorite shows and I can watch it on any TV. I definitely recommend picking one up if you want to watch Netflix or YouTube on your Tv and use your phone as the remote!

Lovely Chromecast

This is not the first Chromecast device we have at home and not the last.

I got a great deal for the latest model and it connects and streams faster than before. Highly recommend.

With this simple device I can now cast whatever is on my laptop to my TV. No more watching on a small computer screen. I might cut cable all together
