I primarily purchased this to use with my Google Home products so that I can ask Google to turn on the tv or to play music on the tv. It’s great when I do use it for it’s primary purpose.

I have the first generation of Chromecast that I bought when it first came out. This third generation has the same good quality plus it now connects to your HDMI port instead of the USB.

Got 2 year old tv that wasn't smart enough this is great upgrade to tv without purchasing a new TV . Helping streaming from my phone to TV and communications between Google displays with tv.

This is a replacement from our 1st gen chromecast. Much faster and better quality streaming videos because of the 5G internet speed. Well worth the upgrade. Highly recommend it.

Very easy to use, aside from having to go to all the apps individually on your phone. I like that I can leave my house and whatever is on continues without my phone being near. Its a tad bit slow when casting a browser from a computer, however it could very possibly be my internet.

Easy to pair if you have Google Home. Also set this up in a hotel room using the wifi from my phone so this worked out well for traveling as well. Does get a bit hot.

Added this to my extra room television. Now I can get my internet television on all my tv’s. Super easy installation with remote control from an app on my phone. Simple and cost effective solution to expand my viewing options.

Only got this to connect the Oculus Quest to the TV. Works great super easy to setup. Not really interested in the other features since I have Xfinity and the TV box already has those features anyway.

Satellite will be out for a little while since we got a new roof so I picked this up online. It works most of the time, occasionally a little buggy but can't guarantee that's not the fault of the streams themselves. Occasionally isn't available to connect to so I have to reboot it.

Love my Google Chrome cast it's part of my everyday use. Makes my life simpler love the quality value it adds to my life i would get this for all my friend so easy to set up and use

I bought this because I wanted to watch something that was not available on Roku. The Chromecast is functional but does not perform as well as Roku. The rewind/fast forward feature is very primitive and does not allow much control. As far as I have been able to determine, if you are watching a replay of something and leave it before you finish, Chromecast will not return you to the point where you left off. You have to start over. Advancing to the stopping point is difficult because of the problematic fast forward feature. "Casting" to the TV works better when you select full screen along with the "optimize" feature. Unfortunately, some content from some sources will not optimize, in which case you get inferior picture quality. But the device does its basic job of allowing you to project video from a device to a TV screen. It also allows you to do this from sources, such as web sites, which would not be available on Roku.

I haven't use it yet. Purchased for spare. Had 2 for years but never failed. Very convenience to transmit video from phones or tablets to tv. Do recommend it for any tv not android.

This is the answer to cable tv. Just internet and this, plus an antennae and you're all set. Just remember that when it doesn't work, UNPLUG IT AND WAIT 45 SECONDS AND PLUG IT BACK IN.. VIOLA!!

This is my favorite stream to TV device. Works with any phone/tablet without having to download extra apps. This is the second one I’ve purchased and I’ve now converted at least 5 other people onto it!

We have a Google Chromecast on every tv in our homes.It is simple to set up and easy to stream shows from our mobile devices for the sets that are not smart tv's.

Have these on all my tvs. It’s a nice streamline to be able to display apps or streaming services on the TVs . I know you can access those through smart hubs etc but doing it through phone is so much faster

Great product, good price, and easy to use. At first I wish I purchased another color but now that I have it I realize the color doesn’t matter because it’s behind the TV so it’s not seen.

We really like using this device on our TV. I was surprised how easy it was to set up and very little configuration. It's way to switch to it from other channels and the interface in my phone is simple and straightforward.

It works flawlessly...I've had experienced delays with the casting or disruptions. I also have a 1st generation chromecast and usually have some delays so this upgrade is worth it.

This is my second Google Chromecast and they are very easy to operate as well as easy to install. Give yourself a break and REALLY enjoy streaming with Google Chromecast
