Anyone who watches anything from a streaming service must purchase this item! That even includes if you use YouTube. Chromecast is a must have in my life and I had to purchase a second one for the bedroom television.

Used it to turn my regular TV smart. Plugged the power cord right into the TV so no annoying wires going to a plug. Used it to stream Hulu and Amazon prime. Best streaming device out there imo.

Usefull for casting and streaming, added to a roku when my wifi isnt enough through my tv and added to a non smart tv in my living room with changed the game and I actaully sit down to watch a movie here and there when all my family is home or for the kids

Got this for $5. It was on sale for $30 and I had a $25 off offer for any purchase. It's easy to set up. Haven't had any issues with it. Thinking of getting a 2nd one for another room.

This works well. The price point is great. The usability between this and Apple products is subpar but it is to be expected because Google vs Apple. However, once figured out, still worth it to stream webpages to my tv for a fraction of the Apple TV price.

Awesome device that casts without any problems. Have been able to watch movies, TV, and sports without interruption. Only wish that Google would take a page out of Amazon’s book and create an interface with a remote.

If you have an Android phone, this is a no brainer. Got rid of my cable box and DVR and never have to look for my TV's remote control anymore. Chromecast also works great with VLC.

I've been using Chromecasts since the very first model was released. They are very reliable and easy to use. The coolest thing about these is that anybody on my Wifi can cast to the TV.

Great use for those without a smart tv/pc. Can connect to monitor/any display with hdmi port and watch all my favorite shows/mirror photos via cellphone/tablet app on wifi.

I can honestly say that this was an easy set up and it’s very user friendly. You will not regret your purchase. Depending on how many HMDI ports you have. You might have to get a splitters like i did. It’s worth it.

Great product, i have one for every tv in my house. I can start watching in bedroom and if i decide to go to living room i can switch cast using my smartphone. I find it a lot easier then using the one included in tv.

Buying the chrome-cast has been a great addition because I already own thegoogle home product. I can Easily just say something to it and it controls my tv. This is extremely helpful for when I misplace the remote.

Awesome for casting to a large screen TV from a Chromebook or laptop. We have about 50 of these at a school district I work for and they are fantastic and easy to set up and cast to.

this has been the best for sure. Just in terms of setting up, all gens are great but the update to the Google Home app made this actually even easier to get sorted , purchasing from best buy made also easy & rewarded.

Chromecast is awesome, the price is incredible, the features are great and it uses your android phone as a remote control. Netflix is now available in both our TV's. And best of all it is not an Apple product

Chromecast is a welcomed additon. This os the easiest way to connect from your phone to TV. I stream and control my entertainment with Chromecast. Defitnately welcomed into my family.

Our internet box is too far from the smart tv to pickup the signal. The chrome cast devise solved that problem to allow us to case DISNEY + and Amazon Prime from cell phones to the tv. WOW.

I bought this with the intention of being able to cast images/videos from my phone to the tv, and for that it works great! Pros: - Simple to set up. - Device Mirror works very well. - Pairs with my Google Home device (see Cons) Cons: - Other than mirroring my device, I don't see a reason to justify the $35 cost. - Requires external power unless using the TV's USB port. The only downfall to this is the device doesn't come with a smaller power cable. You'll have to use the 3ft cable it came with to make the connection usually inches away. - I've had finicky success using Google Home with this. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Overall, it does what I need it to do. I just don't agree with the solid $35 price point for something that can be done with a simple cable connected to your phone.

I use this to watch TV in a guest room and love that I don't need cable. Just car from my phone or iPad and watch everything I want. I've purchased about 5 Chromecast devices so far. Must have.
