And while streaming, you can still use your phone as you normally do. I bought this Chromecast streaming media player just to do that. It works flawlessly and yes it’s true you can still use your phone while you’re streaming all your entertainment on your TV.

I have an older flat screen that doesn't support screencast so this device has helped me tremendously! It also eliminates another remote in the house so your peace of mind can be focused on your phone. Very rarely will your phone lose connectivity to the device but when it does it is sorta pain as you have to either hope it reconnects or have to close out of everything and restart. Very few problems and would highly recommend this product.

Very simple to set up, and even an idiot could install it. If you've got a USB port on your computer, then powering it is no issue at all, and it turns off with the TV. Native to the Chrome browser, or Chromecast app to download. Seems relatively immune to interference, although it's really not that far away from the viewer. Picture quality is excellent, but get a soundbar if you want to really enjoy a movie.

An update to the classic. I know this version has been out for a while, but it's faster than the original. I still use my original model, and I enjoy the newly purchased one for my main television. It's a great addition if you want to cast from your personal device. It's also easier to set up than the classic. The classic still gives me issues when I had to reset the device. It's worth the money.

Can’t beat it for the price! Better than buying a new TV.

I got it for a pretty good price because of the holidays and it works as expected. I don't have a 4k tv right now so it does the job very well streaming in HD. It's super convenient to just send videos to my tv from any device. It also hides away comfortably behind the TV. I hate to crowd my living space unnecessarily. And if you really want 4K you can upgrade to teh better Chromecasts.

Not too hard to set up. I had to download an app to successfully cast videos from my phone to the television. Chrome app wanted a fee so used a free app instead. This was a big relief to finally be able to play videos from the phone onto a large tv. Thieves broke in and stole my tv and Chromecast. Once I get the insurance settlement I will buy the one with the remote and another tv.

Best quality and very useful for all your streaming needs

I have always been intrigued by the Chromecast. I hate smart TV's as I don't like having to deal with their often un-intuitive UI just to change inputs, channels, etc... The Chromecast lets me do all of the setup on my phone and it makes streaming far more simple. The 4k quality is phenomenal and it has never given me any issues after countless hours of streaming.

Pretty good with easy setup and pretty handy when travelling

This has changed the way I use my TV completely. I don't own a smart TV and I had to hook my TV to my laptop if I wanted to watch something on big screen. Now, I just open my phone and start playing whatever I want to watch and just click Cast. Very convenient. I have used it for Netflix, Youtube, SpectrumTV, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Spotify. Works perfectly with all of them.

Great device It’s easy to use easy to set up fast great for streaming movies

This Chromecast Streaming Media Player was easy to set up when using the Chrome browser on a laptop and works as expected. I have not tried it with a cell phone, but don't anticipate a problem. For now, I'm using it to show my laptop screen on a non-smart TV, and to stream Netflix. Both work great.
