I have a smart tv, but it won’t stream without the google chrome cast. The set up was easy and I’m able to play any video on my tv now.

I have 2 of these connected to my Yamaha network receivers. I love being able to say to my Google minis, "Hey Google, stream WBGO to den TV"... and it does!!!

It works well but there are few times when it cannot connect with my internet quickly. After that... No issues when rewinding or streaming different content. The integration with the Google assistant is also a great feature.

Awesome streaming media

I used it ro cast a show where the only place i found the episodes were on a website. So i just played them and casted them onto the tv.

Buy Chromecast

Home mini to Chromecast

I use in a gaming room for an extra tv connected with my Google home mini and perfect for that. Only thing better is 4K!
