Perfect casting device

Works beautifully and amazing HD videos and movies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This has made my old 42 inch plasma tv into a genuine smart tv It is easy to setup on IPhone and IPad which I both use The only con that I have is that even with Chromecast volume set to max the audio level is much lower than other sources on my Denon amplifier It means that you have to turn up the master volume on my home theater about 15 dB to get the same output from the speakers All In all a small price to pay for excellent overall performance Use it with Amazon Prime video all the time Youtube music videos and music work flawlessly

A simple media streaming dongle that works

Streaming to it just involves selecting the "Cast" icon found in most streaming apps these days, and letting the system do its work. (one may have to install a Chromecast app that works in the background on one's phone) These days, both audio and video can be streamed through this one dongle, though due to the HDMI plug it would only work on a TV\AV Receiver. For those looking to use this one similar to the Chromecast Audio in a basic "speaker only" setup, unfortunately this would not work.
