    Really missed my Nest Learning Thermostat when I recently moved so finding A Geek Squad Refurbished model at a great price was a real gift. Works just like the one I had to leave behind so I'm happy and warm.

    Wi-Fi Recognition Issue

    Having issues with getting a replacement due to the Wi-Fi recognition capability. Refurbished replacement is on back order and no luck with total tech so far. Hoping to write Beat Buy to assist, they are usually pretty understand of an honest situation.

    Best buys refurbishment process is to take a broken product someone returns, tape it up with common masking tape and resell it to you. Best buy is a doomed, joke of a company.

    If I could give zero stars I would. Upon arrival the item was missing several parts that made it completely useless. I had to just return it and get my money make. In hindsight maybe just pay the full price for the item then get a refurbished one.

    Not Buying Refurbished from Best Buy Again

    I purchased this refurbished thermostat about 4 months ago for almost $200 and it has already gone kaput on us. It's better to buy something like this new with the manufacturer's warranty. There goes 200 bucks out the window. Buyer Beware.

    “Certified” Refurbished?

    The thermostat battery would not charge, so I returned it to BB (my guess is that’s why it became a refurb). Not sure what “Certified Refurbished” means, but this one looks to have been nothing more than reboxed.

    Second Nest purchase.

    This is my second nest purchase. When I moved I quickly realized how much I missed nest. The geek squad package looked really worn and dirty but luckily everything worked fine once hooked up.

      Nest thermostat changes its temperature automatically due to some factors like schedule, learned habits (auto schedule), and Home/Away Assist which makes your thermostat go to ECO mode. You have an option to use it as a traditional programmable thermostat, and you can manually set the temperature and create your schedules for the thermostat to follow. You can turn off the Auto Schedule feature. We also suggest disabling your Home/Assist, and to clear the existing schedules by selecting Settings > Reset > Schedule > Reset again.
