Learning is handy if your preferences change over time. You never have to touch the schedule if you want. My favorite feature that isn't available is less expensive model however, is the estimated time to setting. When you adjust the thermostat it will give an estimate as to when the setting will be reached. Love it.

I recently purchased my second house, and after having a nest in my first house, this was one of the first upgrades we made. There has been an immediate change in how our house is kept to an appropriate temperature and have already seen improvements in our bill as well. 100% recommend.

Everything is working well, but it didn't come with any defects. This is my first time trying a smart thermostat, and I love it! Because I can adjust the temp on my phone, even set up the schedule to control it!

But installing this obviously customer returned product was a little challenging.The good was the discount along with thermostat,used screws,and wall plate and metal anchor included. The bad was no documentation was included or wire label stickers for the thermostat wires. Fortunately,I had labeled my thermostat wires from the last time I upgrade to an ordinary programmable thermostat. The battery on the thermostat was almost completely dead.Had I known that,I would have charged it USB minimum 2 hours before installing it to avoid problems I had with it over the first 2 days of use such as not connecting to wifi and shutting down due to low battery. Its working properly after software updating and not complaining of low battery anymore. Now I just have to wait and be patient with the thermostat learning my schedule and adapting temperature to my preferences.

I had other 2 same brand but different models and i was having a hard time maintaining the temperature on the numbers I wanted, now this new units are just great

It is working as expected. It takes a moment to install it on the wall but if you follow the instructions that comes with it you shouldn't have any problems.

Upgraded from some serious old tech. One of the old thermostats had mercury in it. The Google techs helped to make sure I had all the wires I needed and once I plugged them in, they worked right away.

Being able to set up schedules for on and off times or changing temps at night for sleeping had been fantastic! Controlling temps remotely is an awesome feature and it has a very sleek design as well.

Wish they would make it easier to install with a furnace. The first unit I bought did not work with my furnace and this one was a little tricky to install .

I really love Nest because it’s so easy to use with their app, but Google is eliminating the Nest app. to replace it with Google Home and that’s a nightmare. It’s like going from am iPhone to a Droid.
