Easy installation... great app... and best thing is it records 24/7 (unlike Ring that records only with Motion)... also has option to remove night vision for those homes with floodlights and would like to record with color at night. Only down side is microphone/speaker works like a radio... cant speak over eachother like an intercom...

The nest cameras are fantastic and easy to install and set up. I did however change the install a bit to make it a little more secure. Instead of running the power cable to an outside outlet I installed outlets in the attic and ran the power cable through a hole to them. Gave it an overall cleaner look and I feel a little better knowing someone can’t just unplug it.

It was 2 weeks after installation before I could enjoy the benefits of this camera. I have a normal-sized house and an excellent router but had to buy an extender and pay a geek to set it up so that I would have a constant connection. Nest should advise the customer to make note of the 6-digit number on the camera as it might be needed if there's a problem (and there was) and it's very difficult to see these numbers once the camera is installed.

Video quality is awesome for 1080. The connectivity between wireless is patchy.

I purchased this to mpnitor my front door, as I did not want a camera doorbell. The Nest Camera has paid for itself time and time again. Amazing resolution, even at night. My husband and I can see all activity at the house and talk to unwanted solicitors when needed. You cannot go wrong with this camera! (We've now been running it for a year and have had zero problems)

You won't catch license plate numbers with this guys, but they do a good job of keeping an eye on your mail deliveries and the neighborhood cat that likes to visit. I think they're a little overpriced for what you get. Also you have to pay for a subscription for these to really be usable. Thankfully that's dropped to a reasonable $6 a month for all of your cameras.

It's installed over the garage. Wired, so there's no worrying about the batteries dying. My WiFi router is far away, but it keeps the connection. Like that it's on the same interface as the door bell and thermostat. Not happy that the recording video will cost you $6 per month.

Added this camera to our cabin in order to monitor activity when we are away. High quality picture on mobile devices and on the tv via an Apple TV app. Camera has operated perfectly. An alert even allowed us to watch a huge flock of wild turkeys go through the newly seeded back yard. (Conflicting emotions with that one... cool to watch, but weren't expecting to reseed so soon.).

We have a pretty long driveway and cant really see when people pull up! Now I get a notification when someone pulls in our driveway we love it!!

Super easy set up and great quality. Software is a bit clunky, but not bad.

There is a cost savings when buying the 2-pack. Great clarity and sharpness if viewing. I like being able to see each camera from both my PC as well as my mobile devices. I can even log onto the Next website from any source and view each camera. 30 day cloud recording available for $10/month first camera and $5/month for each additional camera works very well. Great color too!
