Works perfectly. The only challenge was figuring out how to hide the cabling. I have vinyl siding so I was able to install the camera near a corner and tuck the cable into the vertical corner molding. Then I ran it along the bottom channel to the outside outlet. It's been nice keeping an eye on all of the Christmas packages being delivered recently.

Excellent camera. This is the fourth Google-Nest camera (two indoors, doorbell), first outdoor and video quality is excellent. Only issue I have every once in a while, I'm being asked to sign in. Besides this, I will totally recommend this product.

Is easy to set up and good picture it also has good notifications

We bought additional outdoor cameras when we moved to UT to cover our basement. The resolution and night-vision on these are impeccable. And love you can choose to have recorded (for a small monthly fee) or not, unlike some other cameras that require a subscription. Nest truly makes products you WANT to buy!

This is the best security camera that I’ve used. The direction for set up are easy if you have a google smart home already set up. The chord makes it harder to deal with but nothing terrible for expert in hiding chords along walls to work with.

I love this product. It alerts me every time something or someone walks by and I am not home but my kids are. Money well spent.

Amazing camera so easy and great features best camera out there

The Google - Nest Cam Outdoor security camera is a great camera with really high quality video images. It's motion sensing technology works really well to track movement 24 hours a day. Although a bit pricey for a single camera the quality really is good.

This was our second purchase of the nest cams. We now have more still working did not purchase because others broke we purchased for more coverage..we love the cameras but a must know is there is a monthly charge for 30 day recording

I bought this camera mainly for the motion detection notifications from Nest themselves. The image output from the camera is very good for a wireless camera. Some people might complain about the $100/year subscription fee but I'm okay with it. I get 24/7 video recording for a solid week on a system that I don't have to worry about or maintain.

I bought this Google - Nest Cam Outdoor about a year ago and it has been a great investment. I applied for the Best Buy Card the same day to make this purchase and been happy with my purchase since then. You can subscribe to the Nest Aware and get access to video history.

The Nest Cam is a great camera but you need to pay a monthly fee to unlock some features that should be free. I returned this and went with the Arlo Pro. No monthly fees for seven days of recording. Plus, I attached an external drive to automatically backup recordings.

This is a good camera with great quality however I wish we would have researched all of the possible choices out there before committing to this particular security camera as I wasn’t aware of the required monthly subscription in order to really get the full use out of this camera. Aside from that issue I have with the camera this is a quality camera quality HD video with subscription you can save your videos to your account and than to your phone as well, you can also zoom into certain areas of the video as well. The 2 way communication is quite flawed as it’s more like an Intercom system instead of being able to talk to one another over an uninterrupted line, I haven’t found much use for it since we usually are caught talking over one another when we do try to use that feature, but otherwise as a security camera it definitely serves its purpose. After purchasing 2 of these cameras, the ring camera & doing further research I just feel for the price you pay for the camera their fees are a bit more than their competitors.

Great cameras, have had no issues with mine (already had 2 installed, this one is to add to the system). The resolution is great. I wish I could afford the IQ ones, though, because these do alert me every time one of my dogs enters the field - and that's pretty often. They're incredibly easy to set up and install.
