This camera is clear and alerts you when someone or something passes the zone you have pre-set. I will return for another purchase for the backyard.

Great night vision, records as expected, much better than DLink wireless. I have 5 nest cameras in my home.....and internet still works great. Very satisifed.

I purchased this to keep an eye while away. It will record all movement and can be set up to provide alerts based on custom zones or loud noice. Some of this functions will require a $10 membership. The only problem with it is that if you want to connect the power inside your home you would need to make a 7/8" hole since the adapter cable is designed to unplug from the power converter and not the camera. I can see how this is a safety measure to prevent being stolen.

I was a bit skeptical about these for two reasons: 1) The price 2) The fact that they have to be plugged in. The price point is a little high especially when factoring the monthly fee per camera if you want recordings. I exchanged other cameras for these because the originals did not provide 24/7 recording because they ran on a rechargeable battery pack. The power cord length is pretty sufficient but does come with a junction box that no image from Nest shows. Mounting was straight forward and took about an hour due to going up and down the ladder with drill. Overall, an excellent product that works as advertised. Excellent WiFi range. Great streaming quality.

We love the camera because it is very reliable and easy to use. We mounted it on our front porch and the visibility is outstanding.

Great camera. Poor WiFi range. I had to get an extender for operation. Have had other cameras (cheaper) in the same spot and had no problems.

The nest outdoor cam is a great camera. Built very well and produces a very clean crisp video. With the nest aware subscription it works flawlessly.

We now have 3 of these cameras installed. The video quality is excellent. Definitely would buy again

A+ camera quality daytime. B+ for nighttime. The locking usb is a little bulky to pass thru a hole if you’re planning to connect in attic. Plenty of length on cable tho

the camera is great but they do not let you storage on local network. They do not come with somethinng that you can shield the hold when you install camera. The lens can not zoom in and out and.

Works well and easy to install. However, I wish that the sound of someone being picked up was louder.

Did a lot of research and asked several friends, Nest was the obvious choice. Very easy to set up, easy to install and the app is really good.

Got this as now Nest has single subscription for all Nest cameras. Good video quality. Planning on buying more.

All our Nest products seem to install and work with little effort. Price is a bit higher than other brands but the functionality is worth the extra dollars.
