I love my Nest cameras. I bought this set in addition to a previous camera I had purchased. The image is always sharp and pretty, with great audio. (As long as it isn’t extremely windy or rainy!) The app and phone notifications keep my mind at ease, and the ability to talk to my children playing outside is also a great feature. Customer service is phenomenal. The ability to set up activity zones with Nest Aware is great, so I am not getting notifications from a car just driving by my house and street is nice. If you are looking for a good outdoor security camera, look no further. While the cameras ARE wired, there are a lot of ways to mount them. The wiring length is generous and instructions are easy to follow.

These two cameras were installed in the back and side of my house. The installation is very easy as long as there is an electric outlet near the camera. Had these cameras for about a month now and so far had no issues. The video is very clear. I like the fact that I can set up zones for each camera and receive notifications on my smart phone whenever there is activity within each zone. The cameras are also able to detect people which is also helpful. I can access my cameras from my smart phone and view live video. These cameras are equipped with a speaker and microphone, so I can actually speak to someone using my smart phone. Another good feature is the fact that I can create short video clips and save them on the computer's hard drive. Overall I am satisfied with these cameras.

1080p, works well at 50 feet from router, app is pretty intuitive. wish the cloud recording fee was a little less, but its not bad. the Arlo I had was only 720 and batteries we 20% used after about 30 recordings (10 seconds each)

Very good quality outside camera. Easy to install and setup. Pricy but time will tell if they are worth the price. Work well with the google home system.

Already having 2 other Nest cams, I'm glad they finally offer a weather restart cam. I have it on my deck. It was easy to install and connect to my smart home system. The video is sharp and night vision is excellent. Well worth it.

We had been waiting for an outdoor version of a Nest camera for some time and were not disappointed. Easy setup with excellent video. The apps and other software behind it out perform that of competing cameras we have purchased. The only bother we encountered came in switching the camera from one wifi network to another - a few too many steps.

The camera works great and the night vision is nice. Setup was easy with the provided instructions and it's nice that it plugs in so it never needs charging. Gave it 4 stars because I don't like being charged a monthly subscription to go back and look at previous footage.

added these cameras in with my nest doorbell. it was easy to set up. wish the cord was a little longer you really have to plan it out and make sure the cord will reach. the camera video is great night vision and sound are really clear.

Overall the setup of the Nest Cam was pretty easy. First plug it in, inside your home to establish the WiFi connection. I then took it outside on an extension cord from my shed to make sure the mounting location gave me the view I wanted before mounting the metal plate to the wall. I then routed the wire into the loft of my shed through the soffit. Once I had the wiring run into the loft and plugged back into the outlet there I fastened the wiring in place at three locations along the run and all was done. Very happy with how easy this went up and the clear picture it gives me of the cars in my driveway and the front of our house.

I bought these Nest cams on sale in February 2019, and I set them up myself. I love that you can plug these cameras into an outdoor outlet as opposed to having to drill through the exterior of the house to reach an indoor outlet. There are other cameras on the market that use rechargeable batteries, but I just can't see myself going up on a ladder every 3 or 4 months to recharge them. I added these Nest cameras to go along with my Nest Hello doorbell cam. It's a great system, with a great app. You have to pay a monthly fee for video storage (if you WANT storage), but it's only $3 a month. Think about how much we paid for security camera systems in the 1990s and early 2000s. We've come a long way!

So I have 2 cameras also have the Nest Hello doorbell and it also is great. They all work together. It so clear and crisp. I’m very satisfied with the quality and waterproof and so easy to set up. I’ve made other family members bet these cameras and I have installed them for them and they r very happy. You never know what could happen we live in a great neighborhood but at times u catch some pretty Interesting things Out there. Even random stuff. We have had random peacocks or coyotes at night and it’s great to watch the clips and even share them on social media. Easy to make clips save it on phone best part!!! I totally recommend this.

The picture quality is great and the app is very user friendly. The only draw back to this camera is after Nest's 30 day trial period you either have to pay a subscription or it will downgrade you to still images from motion detection. They should offer a 3-7 day free storage.

Previously bought the Nest indoor camera and was happy with it. Outdoor camera works perfectly. Camera mounted on garage in back, connects to my WiFi router which is inside near front of house. Ran wires through hole I drilled in garage wall to inside power, found some rubber grommets at hardware store to plug hole as the connector demands a hole much larger than the wire - would have been nice if this was smaller but the wiring is all single form factor (I'm guessing for weather protection). Working fine now for about 10-12 weeks. Wish the Nest monitoring storage fees were cheaper but you can get real time image w/o the monthly fee.

The quality of the live recording is impressive in the day and just as good as at night. I own three of them and happy with my purchase of them however they are a hit on the high side of price. The 130 degree range is great, the distance these cameras pick up is amazing and they are well made. Monthly fee to have access to days in the pasts 24/7 recordings is not expensive and it is cost effective for almost anyone on earth. Audio is great it picks up and you can use two way audio feature and speak to someone outside by camera if you choose to do so and the volume is very loud and clear. Super easy to install and app is also easy to use and operate!
