    The base is magnetic. They connected to the home app okay the first time after a couple tries. Then after changing my Wi-Fi they could not the home app couldn't find them. I couldn't get one of them to reset either.

      Hey there, DanielN. We’re sorry to hear you're having trouble reconnecting your Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd Gen) to your new Wi-Fi network. Here are some quick troubleshooting steps to get your device working again:

      1. Locate the reset hole on the bottom of the camera head. It’s between the power cord and the camera neck. For the Nest Cam Outdoor (2nd gen, wired), the reset button is at the back of the camera.
      2. Insert a paperclip, thumbtack or similar into the hole. Press and hold down. At 10 seconds, the status light will blink yellow 4 times, and you’ll hear a countdown tone. At 12 seconds, the status light will be solid yellow.
      3. When the camera begins to reset, you’ll hear a confirmation tone. Release the button. Your camera will restore to its factory settings.
      4. After the factory reset, your camera will appear as “Offline” in the app until you remove it.
