[Employee of bestbuy] Top quality doorbell, pic quality is great. The setup is extremely simple with the google home application and it wired up to my new transformer and works with all the old doorchimes as well as the new one included in the box. It works best if you have google smart home devices all around your home, since it pings you on your google home/nest/dots/any smart audio home device. Only complaint might be that it looks a bit too high end from the street. I am worried someone might mask up and steal it.

The design is very slick, the quality of the sound and video are great as well. Easy to install as well.

This bell camera was easy to install and picture/video quality is good. Our doorbell now sounds weaker, which is disappointing. Also, the monthly fee is a drawback. Overall, it is as advertised.

I replaced my old Nest doorbell with this doorbell and it was very easy to install and great video quality! The Google app also still links to the nest app

Google has finally got it right. I owned the older version and it stopped working after 2 years. The new bell is easy to install and open while older version I struggled to detach. The camera has clarity. Easly syncs with other nest products.

We chose wired because I didn't want to deal with charging it. And it's smaller.. works great and it's fast at picking up movement especially from people. It can tell the difference between animals and people and packages being delivered so it knows what to notify us of. The only cons would be the picture quality is grainy and kinda blurry.. just seems like I've seen other brands that are cheaper and have way better picture quality. Also it can only go back and view 3 hours , if you want more you have to pay for their subscription service. Which is Worth it maybe if you're gone on vacation or you know you won't have service where you're going because it does do a fantastic job at notifying you of any events and you can choose to save the clips to your phone storage to keep.

Replacement for a Nest doorbell camera I had for years. Easy to use and so many zones can be configured making it easy to set the notifications you want to receive.

We had the amazon ring doorbell before this and this one is 100 times better. It has a great view and great video quality compared to the ring doorbell. I like that it connected easily to my google home account and synced up well with my other smart google products. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

The Google Nest Doorbell we purchased was easy to install (replaced a Ring Doorbell that Stopped working) and has performed beyond expectations. We love the frequent alerts we receive on our phones, and the integration with our Google Mesh system throughout our house. We also like the person identification feature that announces who is at our door, based on information we provided. Very helpful. Also, the videos cover a wide area and have good resolution. I would highly recommend this doorbell.

Easy replacement installation, it looks and works great!!

Wonderful! Got this to replace our Ring doorbell so that all of our smart home devices could be controlled in the Google home app. The picture quality is GREAT and it was so easy to set up! I recommend purchasing the best aware to maximize the usefulness of this product.

Love this door bell. Use it everyday, it’s in a very sunny spot where difference brands have broken down and become useless. Images, sounds and voices come in crystal clear. Installation was quick and easy.

I like it so much better then the battery google door bell that was good but a pain to charge the battery and also the gen two wired door bell it has a much better camera which now I can view my door bell and my other nest cameras on my Mac Book with the Google Home for the web which to me is a big change needed and not have to just use the Google Home app. or the nest on my Mac Book which I could not see the door bell.

This is a very good video doorbell. I had the previous generation wired doorbell and upgraded to this one. I much prefer the aspect ratio of the video feed on this one. The viewing area is taller and lower to the ground and not as wide. This is better for me since I can view the ground and see any delivered packages now (I previously couldnt see them). It also allows you to view people’s faces better. Installation was about as easy as in can get for this device, however I still dont like that you have to use a chime adapter. The battery version of this doorbell works with your existing cime with no adapter. Not sure why this version couldn’t do the same. The main reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because Google pushed out a firmware update that made the video blurry, especially at night. They still havent fixed it and the video looks kind of rough. I hope Google fixes soon (they say there is a fix coming so we will see). Otherwise, this is the best doorbell I’ve had.

Installed easily from doorbell installation, wireless connection to bell wiring to connecting to the existing chime. Clear video feed. Been running for several weeks with no issues.

I purchased the 2nd gen Nest doorbell to replace my original Nest doorbell. The appearance and functionality have been improved as well as the video quality and installation was easy.

Great product the only problem here is that you have to reset the camera every time you change router or internet provider or password

Loved this upgrade, as my prior nest doorbell chime stopped. Openbox, Came fully like new and in 2 days. Installed in 10 mins, incl indoor chime which now works again. And added to existing google home\aware in 2 mins. Worthwhile upgrade. Better camera quality, albeot different aspect ratio, its fine. I'm already on google home \aware app anyway, as this 2nd gen does not do Nest, im fine with that, it works well with my other cameras on google Home A worthwhile upgrade for me. I bought this to replace my first gen model. Even though these things are wired, there is still a rechargeable battery in it that will die in a few years. The first generation was a much easier install. With this one, I thought I was losing my mind. If you need extra room for the wires, install the angle bracket.
