Just go my camera install, it took me about 30 min to install very easy setup,I recommend watching the 10 minute video on youtube first on how to install the doorbell or the app will also take you through the process. So far everything is great i'm very surprise on how fast I get a notification when I push the doorbell button. The hardest decision how to make was rather to install the wedge or not I'm glad i did. So far I will give 5 stars even though this first day I have it but knowing Nest everything should be good.

Very easy to install with guided instruction from the Nest App. Clear picture and we get notifications when someone is nearing the door. You can also speak with the guest ringing the doorbell which is a cool feature. We did have to purchase an additional base as the 15 degree angle provided was not enough for the placement of the camera.

I am an existing Nest Cam user and have an annual account for video storage with Google. This Doorbell cam was a no-brainer and works exactly as expected. I ordered a separate angled mount (see the black Nest Hello wall plate pictured) since my doorbell is off to the side of the door on an adjacent wall and the 30 degree angle of the mounting plate makes the field of view perfect. Installation and configuration took about an hour and I now see the Nest Video Doorbell cam in the same app with my other Nest cams for a unified view of all my cameras regardless of the Nest camera type (indoor, outdoor, doorbell, etc.). I also purchased an elago silicon cover/case that comes in a variety of colors. It makes the Next Doorbell match the color of my brown house trim and also provides some UV protection to the unit.

I could not be happier with the quality of picture and ease of installation, Paired with nest aware account you will not be disappointed. The ammount of things i miss will now go unnoticed.

We had another doorbell camera Pro from “R” brand. Had it for 3 years during which time it was a constant one issue after another. Then customer service told me that it was broken and I could buy a new one. No thanks! With the Nest doorbell I’ve had no issues in 6 months of use. Seems to respond faster than the “R” brand ever did. You can control more features with Nest than the leading competitor. Video is sharper and audio is more distinct. Nice to know when a package is delivered or someone is at the door. It works with my existing chime better than the old one. Connect it to your google account and you can ask you assistant to show you the front door and you get the video. Also comes with a handy angle adapter if your existing bell is off to one side. YouTube videos are helpful in setting it up.

The picture Quality day and night are superb. Notifications from motion and sound are excellent and with the reviews of recordings a first class buy. You will not be disappointed with this video doorbell which integrates wonderfully in the Nest eco system.

Should of bought this sooner. Installation was a breeze with a minor modification to my doorbell plate. So far no problems. Video quality is excellent and playback is nearly instantaneous.!!! Highly recommend. It definitely doesn’t disappoint!

Great product, no issues with hardware. The software was not so easy. Using the angle plate which still gets great video wide. It was very hard to subscribe to the surveillance plan, unreasonably so. Between Nest and Google log ins and my husband and I trying to use the right parent account…. Then trying to click on emails to find the buried link to enroll…. Once all that got figured out. ( I did give up a few times). It’s been fine. I wish we could have audio recorded for unknown load noises and not be alerts for every single thing… same for motion. I set up section blocks to notify but it seems to still alert for every car that go’s by …

Got a great deal on Black Friday. Easy to install. Watch the video it is helpful. Clear pictures. Adjust your zones, I live on a busy street so it was going off every 2 minutes. Really happy with this purchase.

With all Nest products, they try to it make as easy as possible to set up. Setting this up to existing Wired Doorbell is a little bit more tricky than a typical camera. It's best to go to their website where they will walk you through step by step to see if it is compatible before you buy. Picture Quality is good, they do not look the exact same as the outdoor cameras. It is a larger square picture where the colors are more saturated then the original outdoor Nest Camera. Still a good quality to see what is going on. Purchased and installed the day it came out, have been happy with it. Only Con is with Nest Service seeing the video. Their service will freeze sometimes when reviewing or looking at your live cameras where you'll get the wonder spinning blue orb.

Easy install with step by step instructions, simple and quick setup. Great picture quality and the face recognition is cool. Will definitely be getting the google IQ cameras for the back yard.

Doorbell was very easy to install and link with our Google Home hub. Picture quality is good, the notifications are excellent and the ability to communicate to visitors is an added bonus!

At first I wasn’t sure how I would like this doorbell but it turned out to be super great. I like knowing who is at the door before I answer it and this doorbell does the job. The button lights up around the button so if it is dark, you can find it. I even put a light switch plate behind it for decorative purposes. I’m greatly enjoying this product. I would definitely recommend this product .

I purchased this to keep an eye on my front yard. My house is located on the outside of a small curve, and I constantly have cars bouncing off my sidewalk. I did the prerequisite check I found on Nest’s website, found that I had 16VAC for power, and self-installed. I also purchased the 5 day cloud monitoring program from Nest, and it’s been interesting. I know when anyone is at the door, when my mail and parcel deliveries occur, and it works well at night, although it does go to black and white in heavy fog conditions. I haven’t caught any wayward cars yet, but if purchasing this item lifted that monkey off my back, it was worth it.

The Nest Hello is great. If you have a Nest Thermostat everything goes into the same app. Integration with Google is great. Works perfectly with the Google Home Hub. Install was super easy. Locate door bell chime box. Validate using the app your door bell is compatible. Turn off power and begin install. Unscrew the two wires connect the Nest pigtail and the wires you took off. Go-to door bell place Mount pull wires through connect the two doesn't matter how they are connected and snap in place power up and finish the install from the app connecting to WiFi. Enjoy your new door bell camera.

Ever since I got this me and my wife love this camera makes us feel more secure knowing that this camera is able to see our entire Street and what's going on in our front door. Comes with a free subscription and I do if I see you to get it professionally installed bye google it will cost $100 to install which it was a little let down because the Google Nest is a little expensive in most doorbell cameras but it's worth it

Surprisingly sharp camera. Easy to setup if your doorbell transformer puts out at least 16 volts. Keep in mind that is a WiFi doorbell but it has to be hard-wired to your doorbell in place of the existing button. The hard wired advantage is that the camera is always on and you can look at the view at any time, while others only start recording when they detect motion. The attached picture was taken by this Nest camera.

We really like the video quality of this doorbell and receiving notifications when people are captured by the camera or ring the doorbell. Night video quality is good. The only thing I wish it came with was additional wedges. As my old doorbell was installed on the side of the front door surround the included 15 degree one was not enough. Had to purchase a separate 30 degree one to get a full 45 degrees.

As seen in the photographs the installation location for this doorbell is exposed to outside weather (a row home with an uncovered/unprotected entrance) and I'm not sure how long this item will last as its IPX 4 weather resistance rating isn't very high. I will raise my rating to 5 stars if it survives a full winter when it will be hit with ice and snow. Since installation I am being very careful when cleaning the camera after pollen and rain. I did add an aftermarket vinyl protector and it seems to help. As far as any negative things so far: - The microphone picks up way to much wind noise. - I do wish I could angle the camera down a small amount but in all fairness no video doorbell manufacturer makes such an adapter. I know some folks have used a washer on the top screw to achieve this but as my installation is fully exposed to weather I didn't feel comfortable with this approach.

Works good. High quality and reliable. Installation was pretty easy.
