I did a lot of research and finally decided to give Nest a try. It is a great system as compare to competitors. Sensors do not only sense door opening but also motion and guide you in dark. Nest guard also has motion sensor and glass shattering alert. Camera is great. Good thing it went on sale and I saved like $150.

Not only was this so simple to install (all Nest products are... the instructions are fantastic) but it has saved me a bundle. I love the integration with the rest of my nest products. I will never go back to another alarm/security company.

Glaring flaw #1: To access some of its features, it requires a subscription and it's unclear which ones stay and which ones go. If you want to know, ask Ecosia or something. There's a limited trial of some kind, which muddies the water on what's included and what isn't, particularly if you don't hook it up right away. Point is, not everything has to be an opaque subscription service. If we want old video stored in the cloud, then we should subscribe, if not, it should be fully-featured other than that with a narrow time span in the cloud. That's what makes sense to me. Glaring flaw #2: It can identify faces (somewhat) of you and your family versus unknown individuals, but it CANNOT customize notifications based on that. You get a notification about nobody at all or about everyone including yourself every time you come and go. Ridiculous. I'll mostly leave the positive details to others, of which there are many: Good resolution, good night vision, sound detection, good software, other than the fobs can become permanently electronically lost somehow even though you have it right in your hand, but call the company and they'll make it right.

Connected, smart, and works effortlessly. This allowed us to secure our home without having to be locked in to a contract like the big name companies. Nest Guard gives the ability to turn the alarm on and off by app, pin code, or the keychain device. We absolutely love this purchase.

I have installed a few different types of security system over the past few years. This is one of the easiest to install. So far the only draw back I have noticed is that it has a longer lag time on camera display when in real time. Overall nice product.

The systems works great and we have had it i stalled for a while now but we like it for the tone when a door gets opened. Like have a 4 ur old with a lot of energy and we mainly wanted it so we could make sure he stayiled in the house with us. We havent tried the arm side of it. I know it sounds old but we live in a rural area and the house is off the road a ways but we have 2 dogs and didnt know how well it would work but you can shut the motion sensors off but then only the doors would have sensors. A lot of break ins they go through windows so without the motion sensors on it wouldnt go off anyways. We will try it soon the see how well the alarm side works.

Easiest security system to use and install ever ! We set it up and it’s working. when I left and forgot to set it, the system called me and said “I see you left would you like to arm the system” . Technology today is wonderful.

I’d recommend the products to anyone. The camera is crystal clear, I can get live video anytime, anywhere. Without paying the subscription, you get notifications of motion when away or all the time, your choice. The subscription isn’t that much, but I was promised a free Hub with a new subscription and Google told me I had to ask Nest, Nest said I had to go to Google, and all they’d offer is a free Nest Mini. Customer service between Google and Nest is atrocious, but that has nothing to do with Best Buy or the product itself. Buy the product, avoid the Nest Aware subscription

Great product, easy to set up, but the sensors are hard to set up on doors that have trim around them. Sensors are magnetized and want to come off toward the opposite sensor if they are on an uneven surface like wood trim around the door.

Easy to install and connect to local wifi. Make sure you have a better router that can handle 40+ devices. Each part of the system is connected to your wifi and could slow down your speeds of other devices/tablets/PC’s.

We love the connectivity to the house while away. Occasionally, a camera will drop offline for no apparent reason. other than that we love the thermostats, cameras, and door contacts.

This security system makes me feel much better with my puppies at home. We have a baby on the way and rather than a baby monitor we will he just adding on a mother nest camera to our security system. Definitely worth the up front money to save monthly

Great bundle, the nest guard is super easy to install and use on the nest app. Only downside I found is that nest guard keypad is the only sound for the alarm. Oh and that google sold nest to ADT..

Everything except for the camera which needs to be hardwired was a breeze to install. I do have to say I was disappointed with the copious amount of packaging though. It was completely unnecessary.

We have been very pleased with the Nest Secure. It is simple to install and use. Makes us feel safe both at home and while away. The integration with Nest x Yale lock is really helpful.

App walks you through entire setup. Incredibly simple and works wonderfully. You can customize all alerts and detection levels. Would DEFINITELY recommend.

Great alarm system. Easy to setup and use. I like the motion detection feature on the guard, an added benefit. It also serves as a google home mini. Must buy if you like the google ecosystem

I have used the Nest Hello doorbell camera for a couple of years now and was looking to add to that with a system that was contained all within one ecosystem. Nest makes everything simple to setup and control. If you want home security that you can monitor with ease and also have professionally monitored this system is a fine choice. No system is perfect, and each has it s drawbacks but Nest is a great choice to combine your cameras and home security into one app.

I have enjoyed having Nest products. This alarm system is a nice starter kit. Even if you weren't to absolutely love it, it is still just enough of a sampler kit that you could use it for something creative like tracking movement of your kids in an area you are trying to keep to keep them out of like a home office or the pool area. It is a nice monitoring system. I use it as an addition to a wired system in our large house. I have a contact on an interior door in one place to monitor interior activity of a room we like to keep secure.
