This sensor is just the ticket if you have a part of your home that is always too hot or too cold. You can tell your Nest Thermostat to use the temperature at the sensor for heating and cooling.

Great add on to the nest thermostat if you have a big house but only one ac unit. I really like how I can set time frames for certain zones to be the PRIMARY zone for the house's temperature.

Excellent for getting the temperature dialed in. I have a room that is much colder than the rest of the house. This sensor allows Nest to get a more accurate read .

This has worked great in our home. It’s in another area that gets colder and we can adjust to that room. Glad this exists and looking into more nest products.

Will this let your Nest thermostat cool your house based on where this sensor is? Yes. And it does a good job of that. Can you set schedules that alternate between the temp of this sensor and the temp at your thermostat? Yes...with restrictions. You can only do that in pre-determined time slots provided by Google in the Nest app. You can't create a custom schedule based on times that you set yourself, which is a shame. Does this sensor track humidity? Unfortunately, no. I'd buy it again, because I wanted it only for the temperature tracking and not for any advanced features. But if those things interest you, you might be disappointed. Another brand (has bee in the name, hint hint) supports the features this sensor doesn't.

Some rooms in my house vary temperature. So I use this to cool or heat one room, than just at the thermostat. Especially because I only have one system for a 2 story house.

These sensors has great range and a good addition to your smart home. Gives you good control of the template throughout the house. Works great in my two story home.

I love that you can buy them in 3 packs! They communicate so well with our newt thermostats and did make a big difference in The way our house thermostats are controlled.

This is a perfect addition to our Nest system. We had one room that would get extremely hot and we needed a sensor in there and adding a thermostat wasn't an option. The sensor is very accurate.

This was actually the 3rd one I had bought, a gift to my father-in-law(first 2 were for my house). Originally he said he like the idea of knowing the temperature in the living room where they spend most of their time but would leave the sensing at the hallway thermostat. Apparently that didn’t last very long, my wife asked how he liked the gift to which he replied he now switches the sensing to the pod when they are in the living room and they can tell the difference in the consistency of the room temp.

Fix the problem that I have my thermostat was in one of the bedrooms it’s supposed to be in the middle of the house so put one of these in the middle the house and I’m good to go

Love this product. My living room tends to stay colder than my bedroom so I put this in my bedroom and now my thermostat goes off my bedroom temp when I want it to nice and cold in my room now.

For some reason my sons room was always cold. We bought this to help regulate the temperature in the house. It was the best decision. It has done wonders.

My thermostat is in the entry hall and the bedroom is usually warmer than the rest of the house. Perfect to set sleeping temperature using the sensor and switch to main thermostat for daytime

This is a good item to purchase in the case you would like to keep tabs on the temp for each room. So if you have extreme temp changes across the house, this is a good investment.
