This device is awesome. My thermostat is in a hallway. So the temperature runs 5-7 degrees higher than in my living room so it always felt too cold in the house. I can run the furnace off the sensor and I can keep the house warm without turning the thermostat up to a ridiculous temp. Easy set up. Had it going in just a couple of minutes.

If you have already a nest thermostat that is compatible setup is as easy as it gets. Just follow the instructions in the app and you will have it setup in just a couple of minutes. The only downside is that it had no humidity sensor and you can't redirect on an hour by hour schedule, just a few prefixed time zones. If your daily schedule falls out of those you are sorry it of luck. This can get fixed with a software update, but until then 1 star deduction. Overall it does what it advertises.

I have 4 of these sensors in my house and they’re pretty awesome. I will admit that I bought them basically to see how efficient my system was and am surprised at the accuracy. You can set your nest to follow any one of them — if you’re upstairs, you can tell it. If you’re in one room it will follow that. I think it’s a decent add on for the nest thermos. I do wish it monitored humidity.

Great product, works well and very easy to set-up. From your nest product, you simply take a picture of the product 'square code' and it set-it up automatically. I bought several to monitor the temperature in different areas of my house. Then, in your Nest system, you can select (morning, afternoon, night) which sensor should be use to set the HVAC temperature. Excellent !

These are handle little temperature sensors, they have changed how we use our Nest. Since they do not have an occupancy component to them you are expected to rely on scheduling, however you cannot schedule by day, only preset buckets of time that go across every day. So if you have a home office and want to mark that you are in it two days a week from certain times, no dice. The app very easily shows the temperatures at each sensor and which one is active. I would like to see more control over scheduling.

I like the idea of knowing what the temperature is in other rooms, and if I wanted, have the heat or cool set based on that room. I like how all the Nest products link together and provide safety options when done so. My only complaint is the price of Nest products. It has taken me a long time to supply my house with the few items I have due to the pricing. I finally have all the items I feel are a need for a safe and well run/linked house, but I can forget about the wants. Too expensive.

I recently had my HVAC upgraded and with it, they provided the 3rd Gen Nest thermostat. However my upstairs runs a little warmer than downstairs. I picked this up so I can how it based the temperature on an upstairs room. This works well. Was easy to set up and has worked seamlessly so far. Would definitely recommend it.

This is a must have for a large home especially a multi level home. You can add more than one and be able to see the temperature in different rooms. Helps to be able to cool of a area of the home that might be warmer than the rest. Install was quick and simple. You can attach to the wall or just leave it on a shelf. It’s tiny so you won’t even know it’s there.

Simple way to let you control your Nest thermostat from the temperature in any room. Easy setup. Tiny puck doesn't look out of place in your room either.

I have two-story townhouse with two Nest thermostats. Placed on sensor in downstairs master bedroom & one sensor in one upstairs bedroom (both rooms seem to be warmer at night during summer away from Nest thermostat). They were very easy to pair & setup. They work perfectly to maintain cooler temps. They made me love my Nest even more.

My thermostat is on the first floor, and I wanted to be able to manage the temperature on my second floor where the bedrooms are. This does exactly what it is supposed to do, I placed it in the bedroom, and now I can run my AC/Heat based off of the temperature on my second floor. A little expensive but its worth it.

I have three of these temperature sensors working with my new Nest Thermostat. I moved them all over the house with no reception problems. The Mount easily on a wall, and two of them I just placed in an out of the way spot. Haven’t had any problems like disconnecting or inaccuracy. Very small and not very noticeable.

Really easy to set up. It’s helped tremendously with regulating the temp in our home. Definitely recommend. Great to move around your home and see what's really happening with temperatures.

Easy to setup and install. We have a floor plan that makes the thermostat not the best indicator of temp for the zone its in, so the sensors help a lot. You can easily add them to your setup and configure the thermostat to action off any individual node. If you like the Nest ecosystem, it is worth considering.

Easy to connect to the Nest and view temperatures in different parts of the house. I'm going to order another set so I can monitor temps in the attic and basement and in another bedroom. I just wished it included humidity information too.

This is a very cool product that links up to your existing nest thermostat. you can set it in different rooms to monitor the temperatures, and tell the thermostat to heat/cool to any specific device. Loved it so much, this is the third one i bought.

If you want to add a sensor to be able to tell what temperature it is in other rooms of your house this is it. It works well and allows you to allow the Nest to use that sensor to adjust the temperature. It is just a little costly if you buy enough for each room. I would wait until it is on sale or you have Best buy buck to burn.
