We have a Nest 3rd gen at our apartment/loft. Our upstairs has always been cooler or hotter depending on the season. Since we got this, we can set it at night to only pull from this upstairs and makes it nice for sleeping at night. I highly recommend getting these if you have a large house.

Wonderful invention. Virtually move your thermostat where ever you want it to work based on temperature. Saves power.

If your room is much hotter than the rest of the house on certain times or the day, i would get this. The nest can be set up to monitor and follow the room temperature through this sensor at certain time periods of the day.

We have an older 6,000 sq. foot home. My son's room was always colder/hotter than the rest of the house. We put a sensor in his room to help balance the heating/cooling, and it helped a lot. Not sure you need this if you have a newer home with good HVAC.

Since in the winter time the heater would always turn off and the back bedroom would get way to cold we decided on the sensor. Since then it has been a big help. Now when we head off to bed we set the sensor at the right temperature we would like in that room.

Our master bedroom felt too warm to sleep and used wake up in the middle of the night.. after getting this and set this as the primary for the night the problem went away

Bought this to go with my nest thermostat e. We have a three level home and definitely inconsistent temps in rooms bc of. I placed one in the baby room and you can set it to read that thermostat instead so when her room dips below a temperature it will use that one and turn on the heat.

This works so very well with my nest system. You can have the thermostat controlled by a different room. Our 3000 sq. ft. Home has hot and cold spots depending on the sun. These nodes allow me to control the heating system based on a room I chose and not the room the thermostat is in.

We love these. in a large house we tend to have a pattern of when everyone is upstairs, or in the living room or media room or basement and so on. So easy to set a schedule to this pattern and make your thermostat or thermostats use the room temperature you are in to control the thermostat.

For situations like mine, where the only thermostat is upstairs, this provides a great way to monitor the downstairs temperature, and have your temperature based upon that additional sensor. Works great, and not something easy to do with a traditional thermostat and additional wiring.

Does exactly what its made to do. Normally bedroom is much warmer than the rest of the house in the summer during the night. I can schedule the sensor to via nest app to register the temperature in my bedroom to be cooler at night. Great device.

Solved our two level home frustration, as the upstairs is so much hotter and the control is downstairs. So we bought this for upstairs and I can easily change the default depending on where in the house I am. Nice product.

The temperature sensor works perfectly with the nest thermostat and controls and monitors the temperature in a room furthest from the thermostat. This room keeps a temperature consistent with the rest of the house. The sensor interfaces well with the remote feature of the thermostat.

Extremely easy to set up and use. Overall happy with how they work. The only downside is the lack of flexibility in when the thermostat uses each sensor - you can select from one of 4 preset time of day options to have the thermostat 'sense' each sensor, but you cannot alter the time that those presets start (though I've heard Nest may be changing this with future updates).

This sensor really helps balance the temperature in my house. The thermostat is located upstairs not far from the supply vent which really affects the heating and cooling in the house. With the sensor it reads the temp downstairs and adjusts the HVAC usage accordingly

Gives accurate information. I added this sensor in room . Quite easy to setup. I can set thermostat according to main thermostat device or this room sensor. Not seeing option to schedule room temperature by these two on different timing.

I bought these sensors for the two main rooms in my house (living room and bedroom) and use them for having the Nest thermostat control the HVAC system. I use a third one in the garage, so I know the temperature there through the app, even though the garage is not temp controlled.

Got these sensors to help with our single zoned home. Cheap way to monitor tempatures on multiple levels. Just be aware if your cold room is 63 and the main area is 70. You set it to the cold area your 70 degree could me 78. When the Nest is done running the whole house heat

It does exactly what it should do. It was easy to install and set up in the software. Only reason I took a star off is because I wish Google would implement the sensor into Google home. So for example I can't tell Google to check the temperature of this specific sensor in the house. It will only tell me the temperature at the thermostat.

3 pack works great for our house. I out one in the baby's room, one I. Our master and one in our living room. Shows all the temps for the areas and you can select which room you would like to link to the thermostat. Pretty cool. Bit pricey but worth it.
