I bought this item thinking that its a google product but its a ASUS prodcut. After I use it, it really hate it. The resolution is too low and the performance is also not that expected. If you have not used any of the touch items then you will be happy to use but once you use other touch products then you will know where this product stands for. I recommend not to go for this item.

This was my 2nd Nexus The first one kept crashing when I was trying to unlock it and when I ordered my second one BRAND NEW the darn thing wouldn't turn on even after 3 hours of charging, switched power cords and everything. Nothing, nata. So I bought a Samsung Tab 3 8" ran perfectly out of the box.. Go figure.

Item. Doesn't have a camera. It freezes alot. Other than that I guess it's okay

I traded this for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 as this product was too small and the camera wasn't all that good.

I ve always been an Apple fan and still am. I am however more of a practical and smart shopper than a blind follower of whatever is trendy and popular. I compared the Mini , samsung and the nexus 7 tablet and decided to go ahead and purchase my nexus 32 gig with the option of returning if it doesn t live up to my expectations. After charging the unit, set up was a breeze; found the features to be very easy to use.; up loaded games , netflix, direct TV app and HBO GO and found the images to be quite sharp. Most important of all, it has an external micro port that i was able to connect to my flash drives so i can watch my favorite movies without being limited by an internal memory capacity ( Apple , can you read this? ). Suffice to say, I kept the unit and am very happy with it.

I bought this based on an online review that said BB was putting it on sale and it was a good deal. I needed a replacement for my Big Lots bargain tablet, so I took a chance. It has 32 GB of memory, will offer update to latest Android OS 4.4.?. Has google apps (gmail, search, etc.) installed and allows installation of Amazon App Store. The display is beautiful and the sound is quite good, although I don't think it is stereo. This was a 'best buy' at $160!

I was looking for a good quality android device at a reasonable price and this unit fits the bill perfectly. A lot of value for the money. I can't find even one other tablet that offers so much for anywhere near the price. Works great.

Heads up, this is the 2012 tablet NOT the 2013. Still a good tablet but the title doesn't specify which version (2012 or 2013) and you have to check the specs. It lacks bluetooth 4.0 so it will not work with some bluetooth applications. Otherwise

I purchased the Asus Nexus 7 32GB Brown from bestbuy.com because of its price point and that it had 32GBs of memory. Right out of the box it would not charge nor show the battery charging icon - the screen did absolutely nothing. I left the tablet plugged into a wall outlet (using the supplied Asus cord) for almost 12 hours and still nothing. I tried every combination of button pushing/holding till my fingers were numb and still nothing. I'm very disappointed that a brand new, fresh out of the box tablet is nothing more than a glorified brick. I should have read all of the horror story reviews online (search "Nexus 7 won't turn on") about this particular tablet before I made my purchase. I love Android and Google, but there's no way I'm buying another ASUS product. I returned the tablet for a refund the next day - I didn't even trust getting another one as an exchange! Now, I also have to return the case and screen protector that I bought for it. I can't take those back to the store because they were purchased through the BestBuy marketplace and I'll have to jump through more hoops to get a refund for those. This entire purchase has pretty much been a total disaster.

I bought this tablet as a gift and the person LOVES it. It is easy to use and does not skimp on specs.

I just purchased a new Asus Nexus 7 at Best Buy today. Tablet has been charging for 5 hours and nothing. I wish would have researched this product before purchasing. I have tried all combinations of button using to no avail. Not even the battery icon would appear. I will have to drive an hour to nearest Best Buy to return it tomorrow. So disappointed!
