I've always wanted to own a Google Pixel phone, and I was "forced" into making a decision to buy one, since my one and only previous daily driver of a phone met its demise at the bottom of a sauna. Almost no risk of that here! With an IPx8 certification, this phone can be submerged in water to a depth of 1.5 meters, for up to 30 mins! The camera is amazing for photos (and it's adequate for videos). The battery life gives me a full working day with constant use (music, browsing, Google assistant, navigation, photos and video, even as an RTA during my work as a live sound engineer), and it charges fairly quickly. I don't use the wireless charging capabilities a ton, but it's there as per my convenience. Updates from Google are regular, and although it came with Android 9 out of the box, the update for Android 10 was ready for me to install as soon as I powered it on! The October patch in particular deserves a special shout out for making the experience even smoother, and ironed out some RAM issues (which is welcome these days, in a phone with 4GB of RAM). The notch is on the larger side, but nothing I couldn't get over! The display is gorgeous, although I did have some trouble on bright days in direct sunlight (not a dealbreaker for me though). Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase (despite the release of the Pixel 4 series).

I'm still getting used to it but so far it has been great. Pro: Love the buit in speakers. Love the camera. Love the screen and display. I'm glad I went with the 3xl instead of the 3A for the extra speed. I do a ton of multitasking and it is faster than me. Cons: It seems to have connectivity issues with the Bluetooth. (Lost a star for this issue). This is probably an issue everyone has with a new phone at this day in age but I find the intrusiveness to be very aggitating to say the least. Give it permission to do whatever it wants and no problems. Try to keep your privacy and you will be bombarded with questions to allow 52 apps to Access everything about you. This is a made up example...While brushing my teeth and listening to my favorite reggae jams it might pause to review the brand of toothpaste I'm using then how did you like the song. Are you going shopping at the grocery store today and if so do you want some copons. I feel as though I should be getting paid for all the work it's making me do. The questions will be the death of this phone for me. As stated earlier I'm sure all the new phones will be the same.

The camera is incredible, if only because Google's software works absolute magic. Of course it's a fast and smooth phone because it runs a Pixelified version of Android. If you hate Google services, you really should not get this phone, but it's a fantastic phone for everyone else. The notch takes some getting used to, but it's also incredibly easy to hide through software.

I love my new google 3 XL pixel. Battery life is great. I love that's it's an android system. The camera is amazing. Display is excellent. It was an ease to transfer whatever I wanted from my old phone. The only thing I wish the ringtones were better. I would definitely recommend this phone.

This phone has an incredible camera with lots of cool features (if you're interested). It performs well and the battery lasts all day for me. It offers wireless charging and has stereo speakers.

Everyday I use my phone for map and so many other things and this phone runs for two full days after being fully charged! In the area that is kind of deadzone for everyone else(used to be for me as well),it has a very good network coverage. It's also smart enough to recognize cold callers and asks you if you would like to block them! It's easy to find different kinds of accessories for it. Would definitely recommend it!

Currently this is the best camera on the market, therefore it’s the best camera for my wife’s needs. It’s light, slick and has tons of built-in features. Price tag isn’t bad either.

Had to buy a new phone as my Google Nexus 6P kept shutting down at around 40-50% battery life. Phones are getting ridiculously expensive so when I saw this on sale I decided to use some gift cards and get it. The phone works well so far and was able to transfer all of my stuff from my old phone very easily. The only thing that bugged me setting this phone up is all the junk Google asks me to allow, agree to and or sign up for. I'd like to fire up a phone without having to sign off my privacy away.

Did a lot looking around before deciding on the pixel 3 XL. Has a great camera with a lot of fun options. I decided on the year old model because it had all the things I was looking for in a cell phone. The pixel 4 had just came out so when they dropped the price on the 3 XL phone I made the plunge. Great camera, google soft ware, OLED screen, fast charging, water resistant down to a meter for 30 minutes ok sound. I got it with the 64 GB storage but there are ways to expand on that. The mic on the phone is amazing. I was talking to a friend on the phone two rooms away and could carry on a conversation.

Love this phone so far. Only 2 complaints would be , no sd card slot and I miss the notification light I had with my Galaxy S8+. Other than that, awesome phone.

I bought this phone because I was tired of waiting for security and software updates on other phones I've owned (are you listening, Samsung?) Also I'd read that this phone has a great camera, and it does, probably the best camera available on a smartphone, although the Pixel 4 just came out, so that could be better. Overall I'm very happy with the phone and would recommend it to others.

Great phone!!! Very excellent camera. Easy to use. Went from a pixel one to this pixel 3 xl. The only down fall is it's a 64 gb. Which is plenty. But I do miss having a 128gb. But for the price I could not pass it up. Very happy with it. The larger phone is easier for me use. And I can see and type easier with it. Great phone all around.
