I'm extremely happy with this phone. I don't use the most sophisticated apps, so I really can't speak to those. But it's excellent for voice, text, internet and everything else I do. Personally, I find the battery life to be just fine. I'm charging about every other day. The camera is excellent, and the processing speed between functions is quick and seamless. At half the price of all the other ones I was looking at, this thing was a no brainer. With 6 gig of memory, as well as being a Google product, I have complete confidence that it will be more than capable of handling any software updates until that ultimate moment when I run over it with my car, or destroy it through some careless act -- hopefully many years from now.

Awesome phone for the price. Good battery life, very sharp screen, good phone performance overall. Wish it had a water resistance (IP) rating, but it is considered more of a "bargain" phone. I would say it's a great phone though even though it's considered a bargain level one.

Not too big, not too small. It has good battery life and a good camera. I realized I didn't really need the newest and fanciest. I don't watch movies on my phone, don't play games. Just need to get my work done.
My one complaint is that I wish the headphone jack was on the bottom instead of the top.
Set up was easy.

I couldn't take the cracked screen and worthless power button my Pixel 2XL was sporting. I also didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars as it's just a phone. This has decent reviews so I splurged. While transferring between the two phones I noticed the screen is the same size but the phone is smaller. I LOVE that! It's easier to handle and, hopefully, harder for me to drop.
My only complaint are the notifications stay on the phone too long. For example if a message pops up at the bottom of the phone of something it can't do that message will stay on the phone for 10+ seconds. When I say it like that it sound picky but when you are used to them being there for 3 seconds and fading out it's frustrating. Especially since you can't use the buttons behind it until it's gone. I'm yet to find a fix for this.

I purchased the Pixel 4a to replace an iPhone which had battery problems. Setting the Pixel phone to transfer all data was a breeze with the provided connecting cable. Right off the bat, I am truly impressed with the battery uptime! Apps are easy to download, phone features are easy to figure out and navigate. The price is reasonable too, considering 128 GB of storage. Very happy with it!!

This phone works really well. It turns on and you can actually call people with it. It also Is a smart phone so I can ask it questions and it will tell me answers from the world wide web. You can even take pictures with it and play solitaire. It doesn't have number buttons but that is a small inconvenience. I hope this phone lasts me 20 years like my last cordless phone did. I will let you know

Just a great all around phone. Nothin fancy, but did not pay fancy price either. Like all pixel's it takes great pictures, fast and smooth and easily accessed from all devices. Switching from original Pixel to the 4a is super smooth and easy, all info transferred seamlessly. 3 days of battery life is a pleasant surprise, and that is NOT even using the extreme battery saving mode! Got 5 years out of last one and love the smaller (same as pixel) size to fit in pockets.

My last phone had 4 GB memory (including storage space), so it is great to have a phone with 128GB (storage space and speed)! It is the right size for me, not to big and not to small. I have no negative I can point out about this phone.... I am no expert no reviewing smart phones... since my first "real smart phone".

Excellent battery life, quick OS, compact size, great overall value. Camera may be over-hyped. I don't use much for watching video, and don't play games, but the screen may be too small for those who do.

Familiar operating system with some new interface functionality that makes it more streamlined than my previous Pixel (Pixel 2). Larger screen area without additional bulk is great. Also love the camera.

This is the next in line of a generation of Pixel phones. I bought it to replace a Pixel XL which has a tired battery. I still use the XL with my home router.
The transfer of my files and apps from the XL to the 4a couldn't have been easier and was done in minutes by the BB staff. It was vastly easier than from my earlier Galaxy to my XL. I only spent a few hours entering passwords and arranging apps to be fully up and running.
For me, the 4a made the best sense to purchase as the 4a 5G and 5 were more expensive (the 5 was twice as much) and 5G is still getting underway and won't be fully functional until my next Pixel phone.

When we added a phone line for our child, this model came as the free phone with activation. It is solidly built and very easy and intuitive for my child to operate. Google Family Link was very quick and easy to set up parental controls and monitoring.
The only downside was that Pixel phones have "Random Mac address" setting as the default for connecting to WiFi, which potentially can cause issues when using a more secure WiFi connection. This made the initial setup more difficult, because there was no indication of what was causing the connectivity issues and I have MAC filtering enabled on my home network. The setting is easy enough to disable once you know what you are looking for, but I see no reason why this should be the default setting.

Very good phone. It actually slightly smaller than the pixel 3a but the screen cover is slightly bigger. The battery life doesn't seem last as long as suggested but it still lasts all day with moderate use (games, notes, apps, etc..). The only thing I don't like is the OS back button is gone from the bottom. You have to drag from the side of the screen. Sort of annoying. Other than that. I would definitely get another one. Oh, another plus is it has very minimal bloatware. Majority of the apps are removable.
