Customers are saying

Customers regard the Pixel 7a 5G 128GB (Unlocked) highly for its excellent camera quality, impressive battery life, and ease of use. Many appreciate the screen size and find it offers great value for the price. While some users miss the headphone jack and note occasional heating issues, the positive feedback on the camera and overall performance outweighs these concerns. The phone's design and smooth refresh rate are also frequently praised.

Phone didn't work with my T-Mobile sim card. Neither T-Mobile or best buy could fix it. Returned but had to pay the $45 restocking for a broken phone.

Excellent! Everything the Pixel 6a wasn't...

I loved the IDEA of the Pixel 6a but it was a buggy mess, fingerprint reader intermittent, runaway heat issues and the worst-data connection randomly dropped. I went through 3 of them. When the 7a came out I immediately traded in my 6a. Wow, what a difference. Essentially the same size but now with 90hz display (with increased brightness) and wireless charging. It has been working flawlessly. Fingerprint reader is spot on and the phone runs cools. Moving to the Tensor 2 and going from 6gb to 8gb ram shouldn't make a huge difference - but it does. Never a hiccup and the screen is smooth as silk. Pixels have no software bloat which helps. Camera is even better and now has the anti-blur feature. Digital zoom is decent up to 3x but quickly deteriorates. My wife has a Galaxy A54 which is a direct competitor but in my book not even close. The A54 is a brick in comparison. They only thing I wish were better is the battery. I run the display at 90hz so that sucks more power. I keep a 20Watt wired and 15watt wireless charger at work so I am in no danger of having a dead phone but if left off charger I am down to 20% at the end of my work day. Not bad but if an emergency came up I could go through that 20% in no time. So I keep the battery up just in case. Other than that a fantastic phone!

Has the Google Tensor 2 SOC so that means flagship chip at a budget price for only $499. Great camera with night sight so the pictures look as if you were in daylight!

Great device at the sale price point, and feels like a natural upgrade from the Pixel 4a. The only major issues are no headphone jack and getting my sim set up was a huge hassle because of Verizon.
