The quality is great! ...when they are working..

The quality is great! ... when they are working. I have had to contact Google Support services 3 times in the past 8 months for various issues- suddenly not charging, not being recognizable by the charging dock, being out of sync with each other. These are under warranty and have been replaced twice for defects in one year. Contacting Google Support takes months (8 weeks for the last one) for resolution, during which time I am without ear buds. I have just contacted Google Support for the third time since buying these, since both buds just *stopped* working. They wont charge, wont play, ect. Good is sending a third replacement, but i'm just going to keep that around for back-up and buy a more reliable ear bud set. It's a shame- the size, fit, and quality are all wonderful when they are working. They just consistently need replacement.

I love these earbuds. Surprisingly, it stays in my ear very well, and I've never had these kinds of buds do that. There are times when they will fall out, but only if I'm very active. Very, very active. It is very durable, even though I've dropped both the case and the buds a few times on accident... I've still had no issues or problems. Overall, I think they are a good pair of buds, and I can perfectly see what they come up with next.

Works great with Google pixel devices and it is seamless. They stay on during rigorous exercise at the gym and comfortable for long distance runs. Bass sounds really good punchy and clear

This item was a gift, but the recipient loves them! They have great sound, they are comfortable, and easily paired with her phone. On top of a great price, these are pretty hard to beat!

Overall very affordable on Google's part, personally the pixel buds pro are significantly better, but this is a definite awesome and affordable alternative with great sound.

Good ear seal (that is subjective). Good sound; bass is adjustable through the Pixel Buds settings companion. If you have a Pixel, let's not overthink it and it's either these, the SoundCore Liberty Pro 3, or SC Liberty Air 2 Pro

These Pixel Buds A-series are my first wireless ear buds. They sound fantastic and are very comfortable. The sound quality is very good and I like the always ready Google Assistant. I don't think for the money you can go wrong with these buds.

I rated it a 4/5 because even if the are comfortable, sound could be better. So if you are a sound picky person, this ks not for you. But if you are looking for something diacreet and confortable with medium sound quality, go for it.

These are KILLER for only $100. They pair seamlessly and sound incredible for the price. They also don't fall out easily! Make sure you turn the bass all the way up when you set them up.

      Posted .

Hi didact117, we’re grateful to have your feedback on Pixel Buds A-Series, and we’re glad that you find it very good overall. If you find yourself not wanting to use the Google Pixel Buds’ touch controls for your earbuds, you can turn them off from your phone or ask the Google Assistant. Please note when you turn off touch controls, the Pixel Buds won't respond to any touches or taps, but you can still get hands-free help from your Google Assistant and say "Hey Google".

      From the phone:
      - On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to the phone’s Settings > Connected devices > Pixel Bud's settings.
      - On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app.
      - Tap Touch controls.
      - To turn off touch controls, tap the toggle button.

      Through the Google Assistant:
      - You can say "Hey Google, turn off touch controls".

Also, the Adaptive Sound feature automatically raises and lowers the volume based on the noise level of the external environment to allow you to hear your music and content even when there may be background noise. We understand that outdoor environments can be noisy, especially if you're in the office or somewhere like a city street, cafe, or subway. With Adaptive Sound feature, your A-Series will subtly and automatically optimize volume based on the noise level of your environment. To enable Adaptive Sound, simply follow these steps:
On a Pixel phone with Android 10+:
      - Go to Settings > Connected devices > Pixel Bud's settings.
      Other Androids:
      - Open your Google Pixel Buds app.
      - Tap Sound > Adaptive Sound.
      - Toggle Adaptive Sound.

Here are some tips to improve the sound quality for your A-Series:
      - Check your mobile phone´s settings: do not enable 'disable absolute volume', or disable 'media volume sync'.
      - Cleaning your earbuds snout and mesh area will also impact the sound quality. Check out this help page for more information on how to clean it: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/answer/9112670
      - And, if you´re looking for more bass, you can enable bass boost on your A-Series. Check out the step by step guide using this link: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/answer/10028011

At first the sound is quite underwhelming right out the box but as soon as you go into the buds settings and set bass to max the sound is amazing and could easily compare to that of the airpods pro and buds pro
