Need the other colors back

Sound wise, it's the same as the previous version. But they took away the volume control and the other color options. Bring those back for the fifth star! Otherwise awesome ear piece and sound for the cost.

They aren't sound proof but they do get loud. They answer calls great and are easy to use. I use them for my day-to-day. Probably won't use them for working out.

The quality of sound is also good. My main problem with them is I cannot wear them long, my ears start hurting quite soon after I put them on. But I cannot complain much as I got them just for 30 bucks.

1. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit: ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear.
2. Use the Eartip Seal Check: It can help you check the quality of your eartip seal and get the best possible sound. On Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app then tap Eartip Seal Check.
3. Try memory foam eartips: If you’re not getting a perfect fit with our silicone eartips, memory foam eartips might be worth a try.

Great buds for the price

These are amazing. Set up was super easy on my phone (Pixel 4a 5G). The sound is really good and the touch controls are nice. I have these paired with my laptop also and they connect very quickly with it.

My son's ear buds cracked on little nub that is crucial to hold it in the ear. Be careful with them.

In terms of the cost when you purchase it in full price I rather get something like a soundcore if I had to compare at full price

My previous did six. I talk alot. I find that I have switch buds. They are comfortable and stay in the ear. I have had two previous earbuds from other brands and they always fell out.

This purchase was for my mom for her b-day. She's been recently using mine and I thought she should have her own!! She loves it, and uses it almost all the time. But mostly uses before going to bed to listen to her drama series.

Only con is the rubber part to holds it in your ear can make your ear sore if you wear it long

Gently insert your earbud with the stabilizer arc tucking into the ear. After inserting each earbud, slightly rotate it back and forth until it comfortably stays in place when you move your head or tap either earbud. Ease of synch as soon as you open the storage bulb that is also a charging/protective system. So happy I bought them. Now I don't want anything else.

My SO has no problem with his, so I'd still give these a shot. My hair covers my ears, and I could hear it swooshing against the ear buds. No volume control - have to change it from the phone, although it does have adaptive sound that adjusts on its own if you like. Positives: Call quality was great. I was loud and clear to the person on the other end and vice versa. Easy to connect to my android phone (Moto). Sound quality was good for my podcasts, etc. Really wanted to like these, but I'm returning simply due to the discomfort.

We also made a few focused tradeoffs to bring the same sound quality, design language, and Google helpfulness of Pixel Buds to this more affordable price. One of those was the focus on tap controls for Pixel Buds A-Series. That said, you can still use Google Assistant to turn the volume up and down or turn on Adaptive Sound to adjust the volume based on your surroundings.
