    Poor Quality

I was very disappointed in these, especially after reading so many good reviews. I have had them for just under 3 months and the left earbud simply stopped working. I have taken great care of them, no water damage, no heat/cold damage, etc. The design seems to be so sensitive that any little bump on them (even from the weight of a hat covering it a little) caused it to make shrieking noises that were AWFUL. They left me wanting some old school aux earbuds.

Excellent sound. Excellent touch controls, voice assistant and ask the features. Touch controls are same on either side. I loved the buds, but had to return because it didn't fit well in my small ears.

Hi PrafulP, we’re thankful for your feedback on Pixel Buds Pro. We’re glad that you love them but we’re sorry to hear it didn’t fit well in your ears. We understand that you've returned them, and if you’re willing to give the Pixel Buds Pro another go in the future, you can try out all 3 ear tip sizes to find the most comfortable tip for you, and ensure that you get the best comfort and seal. Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. To swap eartips, pull the attached eartip off and press the other eartip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached.

    Connectivity Issues during phone calls.

Issues: - On phone calls, I could only get 1 earbud to work. After a few minutes on the call, the other bud would drop out too. Things I did to fix it (that didn't work): - disconnect, reset buds, reconnect - update Pixel Buds App, update firmware - confirmed that my phone (S21 Ultra) works with other earbuds - it does - returned buds to BestBuy and replaced with a new pair. The issue was the same with the replacement. - Contacted Google support and spent an hour chatting with them without success. My case was escalated.

Hi Angela, thanks for being a loyal advocate of our Pixel Buds product. We're sorry to hear that they fall out of your ears.

Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound and isolation, even when setting it in Transparency mode. If you are not getting the audio quality you expect, try bigger eartips. Earbuds worked great for about 9 months. I started having issues with the right earbud and contacted Google for support/warranty. Google customer support has been disappointing. After a week I'm still being told that "my case has been escalated to a higher reviewer" and an told that they can't give me a time frame for how long it will take to respond. I think they are just trying to get me to give up.

I was really excited to get these earbuds because of their compatibility with my Pixel. They paired seamlessly with my phone and setup was easy and helpful! After about 20 minutes, my ears really started to hurt. I tried readjusting their position for a few hours to make them work, but just couldn't find a happy medium between snug and painless. I changed the earbud size but that didn't help at all. I don't doubt that these are great for a lot of people, but they just didn't work for me. They're definitely worth trying if you have a Pixel. Apple wins this round imo

I bought these to use for when I work on projects and as a daily earbud, I have had them less than a year and the left one is dead. It will not connect to my phone and charge anymore. Talked to customer support and they said that they can't do anything since it is out of the 15 day return window. I will never buy from this store again.

    Disappointing and possibly defective

I really wanted to like these. I traded in my competitor-branded earbuds because they had problems getting and staying connected to my Pixel phone. Unfortunately, the pair I received were a massive disappointment. The biggest dealbreaker for me is an incessant sound in the right earbud when ANC or Transparency mode are in use. It sounds like static or like someone constantly blowing on a microphone. The noise is noticeable at all times whether content is playing or not. The only escape is to turn off one of the major features of the Pixel Buds, and even then, the right earbud doesn't sound quite right. The most charitable explanation is that I have a defective product, but there are reviews dating back years in this product line detailing similar issues. I followed the factory reset instructions on Google's support page to see if perhaps that would help but to no avail. The sound persists. I had my husband try them on as well to see if it was a 'me' issue and he noticed the same issue immediately without my prompting. It is ridiculously easy to misclick the earbud. Keeping in mind I only used the product about an hour due to the aforementioned static, I found it all too easy to accidentally trigger commands on the earbuds such as tapping the bud vs holding, or accidentally messing with the volume control. I am returning my product tomorrow, and I haven't decided if I'll give the Pixel Buds Pro another shot. The only reason this is a two star review and not a one star is because the setup process with my Pixel phone was seamless and the earbuds are comfortable.

After owning all the Pixel buds that have been released I have to say the Google has actually nailed it this time. While not perfect, these are still some of the best. One of the major gripes I had with previous Pixel buds had to do with connection issues. They would often lost connection and that would be really annoying. While they got better over time they never really managed to fix that issue until now. The new Buds Pro have a great connection and I've not really had any issues regarding connection. I can walk 20-30 feet away and still have a strong sound coming from these. So if you had any of the previous Pixel Buds before and worried about the dreaded connection issues then worry no more, that issue is fixed. When it comes to sound on these I'm happy to say this is also an area that Google has upgraded and made this stand with the rest in this price point. With good lows, clear highs and mids these hit the mark when it comes to being a versatile pair of buds being able to offer quality sound across a wide range of genres, Sound quality is well above average and on a par with others. The noise canceling is good, Google use custom six-core audio chip to power the ANC and its really does a good job, better than previous version but still not as good as some others, but still a significant upgrade over the previous versions. Transparency mode is ok. It what I would say is the weakest feature on the Pixel Buds Pro, but they do the job, just not as well as others in this department. Comfort is purely down to the user, I have no issues with the Buds Pro, they don't give me ear fatigue or discomfort. The Pixel Pro Buds do have onboard controls: tap once to play / pause, twice to skip tracks, three times to go back. Press and hold to switch between ANC and transparency, and this gesture can be customized to activate Google Assistant as well. You can also swipe for volume adjustment like on previous buds. Battery on these is as advertised with getting around 7 hours with ANC on and 11 with ANC off which is up there with some of the best. IPX4 is a little low for my liking but the will be fine to workout in as they will be sweat proof. The case is only IPX2 which isn't great at all but should be ok for pulling the case out in a slight shower to put the buds back in or pull out to use, but don't expect any real water resistance. Overall these are the best buds that google has produced. The nightmare connection issues are a thing of the past, the new multipoint connection works great, good ANC and good battery life makes these quite easy to recommend

Hi there, thanks for sharing your feedback with us about the Pixel Buds Pro. These really are nothing to write home about. I returned mine. The software features are great, namely integrated Google assistant with notification readoff. The fit is good not great. The reason I returned them was because they were worse than my Galaxy Buds Pro Gen 1. The wind isolation and noise cancellation were extremely subpar, and that's why they went back!

Hi Deepak, thanks for your insights on the Google Pixel Buds Pro. It's great to hear that you liked the features such as the multi point and different audio mode features. We're sorry to hear that you found the noise cancellation feature lacking. For the best noise cancellation experience, we recommend making sure that you get the right fit with your Pixel Buds Pro. Your Pixel Buds come pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance. If you are not getting the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips. To swap eartips, pull the attached eartip off and press the other eartip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached.
