Best Laptop/Tablet I've EVER Had

I love this thing! I don't know what all the fuss was about this with the reviews because this is by far the best laptop/tablet experience I've ever had. I've had 15 inch and 13 inch Macbook Pros, an iPad Pro, a Dell XPS 15 and so on but this is the future of computing. It's so flexible to use as a desktop, a laptop at the coffee shop, a tablet on the bed watching Netflix and YouTube, etc.
I use it primarily for web development (Linux support!!) and web browsing but I can't believe how negative the reviews have been given my personal experience with this Slate. I can't wait for version 2 down the road and I hope Google continues to invest in this form factor because it's amazing to have a device you can use in so many ways. The only knock that I agree with in all of the reviews is lap ability with the Google Keyboard but honestly I never use it with the keyboard in my lap. If I want to sit on the couch and browse the web I'd rather use it as a tablet anyways.
Go buy it and try it out!

This was the top of the line for a 2-in-1 Chromebook when I got it. I am fully supportive of these devices due to support for full Chrome, Android, AND Linux/Linux apps. Although, Linux apps don't run amazingly.

Been using the slate for a good few months now and experience has been nothing but bad! Not a well thought of device with a LOT of bugs! There is NOTHING good about this. I've reported so many bugs. Not all the apps in the google play store support and they just crash! The only thing this device does a decent job is browsing the internet and paying $1000 plus was a complete waste of money and paying $150 for the keyboard (Brydge) is another overhead. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. Chrome OS can be used much better other Chromebooks for MUCH lower costs.

Big fan of Google products but i was disappointed with this tablet specifically. Android tablets are much better or Chromebooks.
