the monitor is no good with several dead pixels, just after 1 year, with light use and taken very good care of, & can't be fixed The software and apps are VERY poorly optimized. Google support was awful as well. I'm stuck with a VERY expensive computer that can't be fixed. I absolutely do not recommend PIxelbook and do not recommend Google support either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Does NOT work with G Suite / Google Apps Accounts

Great piece of hardware but you cannot use the Google App Store if you have a corporate / business / G Suite / Google Apps account. Put another way, you CANNOT use Android apps and the tablet functionality becomes somewhat useless. And Google Customer Support does not know how to support this yet --- you get passed around to different groups depending on if the issue is hardware, software, android or Chromes OS. Horrible ownership experience. I cannot understand why they would only want to restrict sales of this superlative hardware to individuals consumers that are using personal gmail accounts. Major fail.
