We took our trip to Mexico and was used for the first time while there. Instantly the pole wouldn’t stay locked in the different heights. Then the glue that holds them together came apart and now I have 3 separate pieces. I couldn’t return as it went over the 30 days. It’s just a paperweight now

I am thankful I didn't lose my brand new camera. This product is junk!

So you might need something extra to make it float. And sometimes water gets stuck in the pole, and it gets difficult to open it. but apart from that, it great! too bad that it is expensive

It is a good length when fully extended and you have the bonus feature of being able to lock it at any length you want.

Love that the gopole reach is easy to carry around and extends long enough for awesome selfies, and is good for follow cams. I use it in the snow and in the water. By far my favorite pole mount.

The problem is that your GoPro will pick up any clicking audio that the plastic pole produces. I took this pole to Cancun and a lot of footage has terrible clicking audio from pole. Footage used with chesty or head strap was clear as a bell. I will be looking for a different pole soon. It is a shame because I loved the lightness, grip, and functionality of the pole, the audio was just so bad.
