i love this case because it is much more low key than the clear

No blinking lights, this is the solution. I have been waiting for GoPro to make this, now just need an extention back for extra battery or LCD. Otherwise the perfect solution.

The blackout housing is purely cosmetic, it works the same as the standard housing but it makes your go pro look all black.

Love the black out housing because it keeps a low profile and blends in to almost any environment. Looks great and comes with black out stickers to hid the front window.

The blackout housing is awesome and does exactly what it is intended for. Comes with three different backings for all purposes. Very sturdy and doesn't scratch easily.

I like this item because it makes my GoPro less noticeable. Its matte finish helps it blend in. I really like it!

used this while filming for the local police department, so the camera was less noticeable. got great shots and they didn't even notice it until I removed it.

Product is as it states, "Blackout." Great way to "not" advertise that you are recording. Does an excellent job of concealing all LED lights AND rear LED screen.

It looks sleek! That's why I got it! only downside is because it's black it can be difficult to see any debris inside the groove for the seal, so you gotta shine a flashlight inside when you're cleaning it. Other than that, super sick looking and it hides the LEDs so fish can't see me when i stick my head into caves.

used this for a hunting trip that required quiet and dark circumstances. when in stealth mode and this housing you did not know i had it on my headstrap!

Bought this beauty for my summer vacation in So. Cal. great purchase used at disneyland and great underwater shots in the pool ....GREAT STUFF!!!

This housing does its job it will be great for deer hunting when blinking lights is not acceptable

I needed a case for my go pro that would allow for a head strap and all that was available was the blackout case. It work d great for rafting. My only concern is the potential for overheating when used in the sun (which I did). But it worked for my purposes.

Great blackout case. It hides all the red dots so it doesn't get captured on film in low light. Also looks great.

Works perfect for what I use it for I take it on trips and normal Everyday use

Great blackout housing...only real problem is I can't find a lens cap for it to fit...other than that it's great with an updated closing mechanism...more stealth than the see through clear one
