However, some users express concerns about its price and sizing, while a few find the upside-down camera mount and its suitability for certain sports to be drawbacks.

I bought this because I shake the go pro too much when I hold it by hand. It is very easy to attach the go pro to the harness and easy to put on myself. I am able to be hands free and yet my go pro can stay very still. My only negative is there is only one way to attach the camera which is upside down, which means in the go pro settings you have to make sure you switch it to upside down so your video isn't all the wrong way.

This GO PRO harness has been great for my use. It has allowed me to free up my hands during operations. I was a little concerned at first as to what I would actually be getting in the video field of view based on where the camera would be mounted, but it has produced some really good video footage.

I bought this so that I could take videos of some of my epic mountain bike rides. Since then I found all kinds of uses for including mounting it to a toddler and seeing the world as we used to see it when we were all little. It's so easy to use my camera, put on the chest strap, turn on the camera, have fun, and watch great video.

When I purchased the camera, I had looked to buy this down the line but didn't have an immediate use for this. Unbeknownst to me, Best Buy was running a promotion where this and the head strap mount were free with my purchase! I haven't used it in a practical sense but did try it to sample it. Very happy with it!

I bought this chest mount for the Go Pro to go snorkeling. Figured it would be easier to let it be attached to my chest instead of holding the camera. It made it a bit bulky and at times, would make the camera angle video where I was not trying to video. Overall, I do like the chest mount for its convenience.

I already had the hat clip and the head strap...but wasn't really happy with how those worked for me (the head strap is great if you have straight hair, but looks hilarious with curly hair... just sayin'. This is perfect for being able to wear the camera rather than hold it! Love it! Highly recommend!

Complimentary to my assortment of "Go PRO" accessories, I picked up the Chesty for recording Nut-Megs on the soccer field. Olay! It has been a quality product, delivering some impressive results.
Thanks to the Go PRO Chesty, I remind my friends all the time who the real BOSS is on the pitch! OLAY!

For those of us thrill seekers this devices is perfect for the risk takers! Why? It straps to your chest! perfect for base jumping, free falls, sky dives, when holding something is extremely dangerous and a helmet cam may not provide the view your looking for!! As long as you leave your chest area open and nothing you do, will block a great shot because, ie: you had to slide on your chest or, your running in large crowds or in close vicinity and all you have is back, but and thigh!! Think can you use it, does it make sense, if so, great buy!

I was excited to get this as a gift for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it! The only reason I am not giving five star is the mount is extremely hard to remove and is packaged to have the camera mounted upside down! To turn it right-side up, you have to slide the mounting part out of the holder and place it in the right way - we have yet to accomplish this :(

Looked at several options to hold camera in salt water application and para sailing. The strap performed well in both applications. Easily adjustable to fit our 10yr old and then to an XXL man. If using for salt water application be sure to rinse well when out of water and hang dry.

Even better than expected. The strapping is elastic so it is easy to adjust and has a wide range if fit. A side snap makes it easy to get into and out of. It is light, compact folding ip into a small storage bag. Some experimentation indicates that this system holds the GoPro securely and places it in a position allowing easy assess to the camera controls. Most importantly, it places the camera where it is very well protected unless you end up doing a hard face plant and can't get your hands or arms out in front of you to break the fall. Even with that, the case should protect the camera from most shocks.

Got this for my son for his GoPro when he is snowboarding. He loves it. It stripes nicely to him so he can get a view of him heading down. When he turns it is there with him and he does not have to hold anything. It goes large enough to fit over all those warm clothes.

The hornist is comfortable on my athletes. It allows them to record what they're doing and see what they're doing comfortably without restricting their movement I would recommend it for anyone. I use it on kids ranging from the age of six all the way to 18

If you missed my other review (I am thinking of publishing) you don't know that one of my kids, 16 years old, is into par cor (I think I spelled that wrong). That's the thing where you run around either the urban jungle or the real jungle bouncing off and jumping over things. If there is a path or sidewalk, it is to be avoided at all costs! You must go over rails, dividers, trees, bushes, whatever obstacle there is. Fast. Anyway, anyone who is anyone is also going to have to record their epic journeys so they need a go pro and something to strap it to their chest or head (other than duct tape which can be problematic at time of removal). We we got the kid this chest mount. Truth be told, we returned it, but not because of function. His cousin also bought it for him and he didn't need two. So we took it back and got the waterproof thing to protect the camera. Oh, what a Christmas it was!

I use it for skiing mostly. It is perfect for that; you can ski trees without fear of those low branches and in 960 mode can see skis, poles, etc. I highly recommend this; it has survived quite a few falls and I never leave home without it when skiing now. :)

I like the Chesty a lot. I do wish that the bracket that holds the camera would allow me to point the camera a little higher. If I don't wad up a towel under the base to point the base more upward, I end up looking at my hands, holding the reins, instead of looking forward at my path of travel. Other than that...great gadget.

I used this product to video a hiking trip and it worked great. Also I'm 6' 4" and 280 pounds, I'm a big guy, and it fit great. Very comfortable. I was worried but not an issue in the least. Shows a large field of vision. Great product.
