I really don't know how to rate since it was not usable with the camera purchased...even though the Best Buy employee recommended it.

Don’t buy this. Every model is diff and you have to keep buying the new model.

it comes with an extra battery, and it is perfect so in your vacation you don't have to worry about not having your camera ready to film or take pictures. I think it is necessary. worth it.

Just bought my GoPro Hero 4 yesterday and i charged my batteries using this charger. I love this charger. Very simple and easy to use.

Great accessory to have specially when you're on vacation and you're out for a while.

As purchased, the GoPro Hero4 comes with a USB cable and one battery. You can charge the included battery in the camera, but you will want to have more than one battery available. At the highest resolution, you will get about 66 minutes of recording out of one charge. Having two extra batteries charging in this unit (I have ordered a car USB adapter for mobile use) will keep you ready for action.

If you are going to be using your GoPro all day you need to get this accessory. With the additional battery you will be able to shoot videos for twice as long.

A must if you have multiple batteries! Sure, you can charge your batteries inside your camera but I would rather use a dedicated battery charger instead of having the GoPros components subjected to current just to charge the battery. Just seems like extra wear on the GoPro internals that doesnt need to happen. The ONLY real complaint I have is sometimes a battery will reach full charge but the status light won't change from yellow to green automatically but if you pull the battery out and put it back in the light will turn green if the battery is fully charged. Just a little quirk. It happens with all 5 of my batteries for my GoPro Hero 4.

Went for this specifically for the extra battery and the ability to charge without having the camera plugged into the camera. It charges fast and I always have a battery for any spur of the moment filming. Would recommend for anyone who's looking for an extra battery to go along with their GoPro

Id say this is a great purchase if you're looking to stick with the go pro brand. The product works well and does it's job. The only negatives are that it takes a little bit to charge the batteries so I woukd definitely say buy 2 of these. That way you're never out of juice on a shoot. Also Wasabi power makes a 2 and 3 battery charger with batteries for right around the same price point online. And to me the Wasabi charges faster. I have a hero 4 black 4k and I shoot between 1080 and 2.5k. I have one go pro double charger and a wasabi 3 battery charger.

This is item has been so convenient! The go pro dies quickly so it helps having a back up!

Went on vacation and used my go pro everyday, it was super convenient to rotate between batteries. I would leave one charged and when my go pro was low, I'd switch it. My go pro never died. Definitely a must have!

Great purchase , especially for those who use the GoPro very often because it can provide load for two batteries. Also include extra battery.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do and it's very convenient to charge multiple batteries at once. Switched them out each day on a cruise.

The best thing about this charger is that it can charge up to two batteries at once and it came with a spare battery.

The Go-pro's battery lasts long, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra especially if you go on long trips.
