A Necessary Accessory
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a necessary accessory all because someone decided that the HERO 4 Silver needed a Touch screen built in. Which meant the battery could no longer go into the back of the camera. This should not have been a big deal but they decided to make the BLACK EDITION take the same new SMALLER battery as the Silver. For Seasoned GoPro fanatics like my self who have over 20 batteries for the 3 and 3+ cameras this is a very big deal.

Not once, twice

The light never turned green when it was fully charged. I knew this because I put the battery in the camera and it was 100%. Hopefully the next one I exchange for works.

Not a charger

It holds two batteries but you have to plug it into an iPhone or kindle charger. Of course just like the GoPro the usb cable provided is short so you cannot reach a table from a wall socket, I am returning it.
