The floaty back door does exactly as it says. It keeps the GoPro floating. The orange color is easy to see as well. Only drawback is that it blacks the LCD screen on my GoPro Hero 4.

Quickly attaches to camera, great for water activitivies, have used it several times. Helps you use your Go Pro without worrying about loosing/dropping in water.

I used the Floaty pad in combination with "The Bobber" handle on a recent boating / snorkeling outing. The Floaty element of the combination seemed to be well designed. I wanted the pad for floatation during boating. And found the handle helpful during snorkeling. Either device alone probably would have been more than adequate for flotation. Attaching the Floaty pad: The Floaty has a large adhesive pad to attach it to the back of the GoPro case. The Floaty covers essentially the entire back face of the GoPro case, so aligning it when attaching it to the back can be a bit tricky. You want the pad well centered but don't want it to interfere with the GoPro latch at the top if the case. What worked well for me was to put the Floaty pad down on a table, adhesive side up. Then press the provided spare door onto the Floaty pad. This allows you to look through the clear door as you are attaching it to the pad. Then remove the original GoPro door and snap this new one into place. Much easier to control the alignment than trying to press the Floaty onto the full GoPro case.

I bought the floaty backdoor for my camera for a rafting trip. The little thing stuck onto the backdoor of my camera with the strength of Thor minus the additional weight. It's highly visible and actually was able to barely keep afloat the additional weight of the GoPro 3-way arm attached. Perfect for any water activities so you don't loose a few hundred dollar camera.

I bought this for my GoPro due to the fact that I was planning on using it mostly around water. Works great and I love the fact that I don't have to worry about dropping it and it sinking to the bottom. This is a must have if you are going to have your camera around water.

I got this is a gift for a friend and on multiple occasions it has been the difference between us swimming to the bottom of the lake to look for the device and us just picking it up off the surface of the water. It works as advertised, product floats and is highly visible. A must buy for water sport enthusiasts.

My wife and I bought this for our gopro hero 3 to take with us on our cruise and we are glad we did. We were able to take the camera in the ocean, pool, on the jet ski, etc. and we never worried about loosing our camera. It floated in the water and the bright orange back allowed us to see it from far away.

A vital piece of your GoPro arsenal for any footage in water. By having a Floaty attached to your backdoor, you insure that you don't lose your $300 GoPro when cliff jumping, kayaking, swimming, or going to the beach. The one downside to the product is the price, off-brand versions of the Floaty are spitting images of this product and may go for half off compared to the GoPro Floaty. Most of the other third party mounts sold for GoPro cameras are a compromise compared to the GoPro branded product, but in the case of this Floaty, the third party product is basically the same. I personally haven't used the tethers that come with the Floaty, but I've attached the string that comes with the Floaty, wrapped it around a silicone bracelet and record while holding the GoPro in my hand, so even if I let go of the GoPro, the camera with the Floaty will be tethered to my wrist.

I picked this up to take with me on a recent cruise where I knew I would be swimming and might not be able to hold on to it at times, it ended up I was able to hold on to it the whole time and I purposely let go just to make sure that it would float up to the top and he could handle the weight of the camera, it succeeded without a problem and I'm sure if a need arose where it became detached or got lost out of hand that it would go to the surface like it should and you would be able to easily retrieve it then, for the few dollars I paid for it I consider it cheap insurance on a expensive camera, this item comes with 2 doors make sure you put the floaties on the correct one for your camera

You must go and buy this for your Go Pro if you plan on going out on the boat with friends/family. Its amazing. Period. Bright orange so you can spot it out and obviously does its job of keeping your Go Pro afloat. 10/10 would buy again.

Easy to install, easy to add to the GoPro kit and kept the GoPro from sinking when the squad and I went tubing. A much needed accessory for any water based activity.

I bought this product expecting that I would probably end up returning it, but it turns out to be a pretty cool product. Not only does it perform as advertised acting as an insurance policy for your camera, but it's also a nice, bright conversation piece as well. I wouldn't spend $20 on it, but the $10 sale price made it much more reasonable.

I use it as a safety in case the Go Pro comes off the harness and lands in the water. It's great because it floats and the bright color is easy to spot! Would recommend it to anyone that enjoys aquatic sports.

Got this floaty back door and the first time using it out on the lake it fell off my sea doo. The bright orange color had exceptional contrast in the lake was able to locate it from about 50yards away

The floaty backdoor is a very good accessory. It allows the gopro to float in the water and the bright orange color allows it to be seen easily just in case it falls in the water.

This little floatation device worked well to keep my camera from sinking even with the attached handle. It's also good that it is bright orange to help find it if it floats away.

We purchased this floaty for the sole purpose of snorkeling. It did the job. It does make the camera a little bulky, but I do recommend it if you are going to take your camera snorkeling. That way, if you happen to drop it in the water, it will float to the top and you can easily pick it up.

I used this during a visit to a water park, and it worked great. There are no instructions so be sure to use the correct size door before sticking the floaty device to the door.

Great product. Easy to attach to the camera. The bright color makes it easy to see if you drop it in the water. I also bought a floating pole which i would highly recommend

A long week at the beach this product took a pounding in the surf from my three boys. Not only did it float but was easily visible after getting away from us a few times
