I bought this as a gift for my teenage daughter. She has a great time using it to make videos. She had no problem learning how to use it by herself. Great that it can be taken underwater too.

Use this for autocross racing and some water sports. It takes great quality videos but the battery life isn't the best. Only gets around 2hrs or record time before it dies. Other then that it a great device.

Birthday present for my wife. Size seems ease of use is great but sometimes is slow and turns into different modes when powering back up. Great starter camera for every day recording or a day at the park

This is our first GoPro and so far we love it. Its a great camera for beginners and first time gopro owners. We based our decision to go with the 2018 hero on others reviews. We dont have a ny 4k products so it didnt make sense to record in 4k if we wouldn’t be able to enjoy it. The quality of video and pictures is better than expected. Highly recommend this camera to anyone who’s starting out in the action camera field.

I would recommend this camera for a starter/enthusiast. As much as the Black edition is awesome you don’t need anything more than 1440, because likely your computer won’t edit 4K video. It has all the same basic features and creates crystal clear video at 1440 and 1080. Unless you are doing extreme action sports this is definitely plenty of camera.

Very easy to use and takes great videos. I bring it when i hangout with friends and they all love having videos from haniging out.
