If you're looking for a rugged, waterproof, small and easy to use GoPro action cam, this is one to consider. Video quality is good, but I recommend shooting in ProTune mode to give you a little more control over color and contrast in post production editing.

The gopro app on a smartphone is a reqhire many to access the gopro. Also it is quite confusing trying to get it set up. Get the app going first before turning on the camera. Pairing to your phone can be dodgy so get ready to search online for help. I can see why they upgraded this one to be more user friendly. Still, it's a great camera and works well once you figure it out. (Gopro ... it's called a user's manual ... just sayin'.)

The camera is definitely easy to use. The app that is downloaded also makes things easy. The one button start and stop doesn't take you away from the action long. Video can be recorded in HD and the still pics have decent resolution. The camera works with all go pro mounts and is already water proof

Gave for a gift to my son that is traveling through Europe. Very easy to use. Nice and compact. He used it for panoramic views of the Alps and even when he was sledding downhill. Sound with the video was great. We were able to follow his trip through the videos he made and posted to the Internet.

Purchased this for my daughter after a lot of research and love it. It's very easy to use even for her and takes great videos. I was really surprised at how well the underwater footage turned out. I have seen some reviews complaining about getting it to sink to their computer and sometimes it just doesn't connect but I've not had that issue. Best small camera for the price

I actually bought this as a gift for someone else, but I purchased one for myself earlier in the year. HERO Session is a really nice product. Well made and fairly easy to use. Picture quality is fantastic. The only drawback for me is that I'm not really an outdoor adventurer. I used it to film my kids and the dog. I think this is best suited for people really on the go.

This is an inexpensive go pro, compared to the others, to use as a beginner. It is small, easy to use, and has good quality. The quality may not be the best as the other go pros but for the price you're paying it is equivalent. The battery lasts long enough to use for quite some time.

A great little camera for capturing the action. It is light weight and easy to use simply push the button and start recording. You can view the video by putting the memory card in a reader and using a computer or by using the go pro app on your moble device. I'm not thrilled with the app.

I purchased this camera to catch active events. The camera works great. There is a slight delay when you’re streaming the live footage on the phone through the app. When you view the videos or photos on your phone the resolution is not good but once you upload the video or save the video, it looks amazing. Crystal clear with the high resolution settings.

The camera is light, easy to operate and, of course, waterproof, though aside from a light mist, it has not been stringently tested. I would highly recommend the camera as an alternative to shooting live action on a phone.

Love how you don't need a separate case to waterproof this camera. Easy to switch from photo to video to time lapse modes. Took it snorkeling and the pictures and videos were great. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I've owned a lot of GoPros and this one impressed me the most. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the battery life. I wish you could replace the battery or charge while using. That is the only limiting factor. One other note is buy an expensive fast SD Card, it will fail your video if you get a cheap SD Card, I learned the hard way with San Disk Card. GoPro publishes recommended cards, I personally go the Samsung Pro+ now and it works great.

At first i had problems recording, but then i start to using it more and i will recommend it, hd video it looks very good very simple to use and the size is perfect.

I was so tempted to buy the more expensive version but settled on this one. Once I walked through a few practice runs with it, it worked like a champ. Good video, and you can pull good stills as well. It connected with my samsung galaxy easily so that I could see what I was recording as I was using it. It was a good impulse buy!

The GoPro session is a great camera. Very easy to use. And great picture and video quality. Always wanted a GoPro but never wanted to pay the big price for one. But with this new camera at a good price it was well worth it.
