This camera is great. A must for vacations. Light and easy to use. Camera is waterproof and the app lets you share and edit pictures/videos.

I've tried the larger GoPro cameras previously (GoPro Hero 3+) and I've found that it was a a bit large when mounting it on my car or bike. The session is a lot smaller in terms of dimensions and how it sits when mounted. I also love that the whole camera itself is dust, water resistant, without needing an external case to protect it. Image and video quality is on par with the full size GoPro cameras with good contrasts and rich colour. Definitely recommend this GoPro over the full size one to save some money as they are pretty much identical.

I bought this item so that the kids would have memories at the waterpark. WOW unbelievable ease and shots. Camera mode is a plus because the videos captured above and underwater were spectacular. Its like having a different view of a water park. My first Gopro = EXCELLENT

Video is excellent and waterproof is a plus. I use the camera for motorcycle and kayaking. It's compact and very solid. Love the camera!

This is my second GoPro Session camera. I liked the first one so much I bought another one. Great price. Good video and audio. The camera broadcasts WiFi for instant playback and to use your phone as a viewfinder.

Not really what I wanted as I didn't realize there isn't a screen on it where you could at least review what you have. My fault really for not researching before I bought it. No fault on product....

We used out GoPro Hero Session all summer long. I love that it's at a price point that's more affordable than it's relatives while still being fully functional and waterproof. A few things to note: This needs a steady hand or an editing software that allows for image stabilization. It's hard to record a moving object while the camera operator is also moving. (IE chasing after the kiddos!) It works super well under water (pools and ocean) however if you're using it incombination with the app it does loose connection after just a a couple of feet.

I always wanted a GoPro but I was thinking about which one to buy and then I decided for the GoPro Hero Session and it was the best choice. The perfect combination of good price and good camera.

Purchased 3 HERO Sessions for my 3 teenage boys for our family vacation in the Virgin Islands to video all of our snorkling. Also purchased the orange Floaties for each, so they wouldn't drop them and wind up in the bottom of the ocean. These cameras did awesome. They are not very expensive ($149) and are perfect for the beach because they are waterproof. My boy's favorite feature is you can view all the videos on their iPhones with the free GoPro app!!!

I’m not much of a person to have an action packed lifestyle, but since moving my the water recently I decided to invest and am glad I did. It takes a little getting used to, but it’s worth it just for the waterproof feature!

Very light, easy to use, love the wide range, great videos and photos. Downside is You can't view anything until you download to computer.

I originally purchased the SONY equivolent, however this proved smaller and video is exceptional. Glad I made the purchase. I would make sure the SD card is included as a package deal.

I wanted a GoPro that was waterproof, and ready for me to take while mountain biking.This camera has been perfect for that. It's got great features, and is super tiny. Easy on and off recording, time lapse, and photos! I read a lot of reviews on the camera prior to purchase and the camera doesn't come close to the higher level Hero cameras in terms of quality, however it is also only $200. You get what you pay for though, and the lack of accessories is evident. Overall a great camera for action sports! Highly recommended!
