Bought this for a family vacation to Hawaii. Used it to record kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, biking, and just scenery and family shots. Worked great, very easy to use, one button to press. Took great pics and videos. Wasn't quite sure what my images would look like until I had the chance to download and view on an iPad. Probably need to be closer to subject than you think for people pics. It shots a fairly wide angle pic and video.

I enjoy using my gopro! It is easy to use with the press of one button. My only complaint is that I don't like it when it needs to load on your phone or PC. Process is really slow!

I use this mostly for cycling and love that it is compact and lightweight, also easy to use and operate.

For the price it meets all expectations! With great form factor as well! Honestly only reason I would spend the extra money is for the 4K video. But 1080 works just fine for me.

This was a spree of the moment purchase and we absolutely loved it on our Mexico trip. Just don’t forget the needed accessories you might need. Sound and pictures are great!!!

This camera is great for its small form factor and good video characteristics. Being waterproof and light are just a great bonus.

First time I used it was while snowboarding in Colorado. Not sure if the cold/wet had anything to do with it. But the so called easy push button and record didn't seem to do anything like that. When connected to a device its very easy to record, setup and control. If you want to record on the fly, be prepared for delays. There is a possibility that the store sold me the wrong SD card, which I've read can cause this issue. I give it 4 out of 5 for the lack of reliability, but everything else is goPro fantastic.

Works great on the bike and in the truck as a dash cam. I don’t like the idea that you have to use the app to delete the files on the card. Or remove card and do it on a computer. All in all, yup I like it.

I purchased this to be a simple, go anywhere, easy to use video camera and that is exactly what it is. Set up is simple and it is very easy to use. I use it with the app that you can download and it is very easy to control. The fact that it is weather sealed and waterproof down to 33' is awesome. I had hesitated and thought about getting one of the more expensive models but this works so well that I'm glad I went with this one.

I had a difficult time trying to connect it to my app on my Iphone. Once it was connected, I was able to see what was being captured in real time on my phone which was pretty cool. I dont really like how after about 15 minutes of recording, it cuts the video and starts a new one. Therefore turning one long video into several. Has good image quality and a wide angle. Easy to attach to anything with the accessory package. I think the battery life could be a little longer.

The GoPro Session (Hero4) is a pretty decent beginners GoPro and works right out of the box. I recommend getting a 128gig micro SD for it because it records in roughly 12 minute segments that are around 1.8gig each. My biggest complaint is that is doesn't do continuous recording but makes short segments you need to piece back together with video editing software. Otherwise it's been great. Battery life is a little short too, about 2 hours with continuous recording.

Takes great video, easy to operate. Even in rain this camera does wonderful. I am impressed.

We had seen footage from the GoPro session, but we were blown away at how easy to use it is, how tough it is, and the quality of the picture. We did not get the 4K version, but with true HD capability, the picture looks gorgeous on our full 1080 television. The recording time defaults (7 minutes) are slightly different than other cameras, but easily overcome with editing software. easy setup, great accessories and fantastic picture make this a great buy.

I have gopro hero 3 (with 2 batteries) This session does not have a replaceable battery, which is why didnt go for the Hero5-session. The functionality is a different from hero 3. It seems to be designed more to push a button to turn on and start recording, push again to stop and turn off (possibly to conserve battery life). Same great quality video. Nice and small.

This is a great action camera and very small/compact. The battery lasts about ~4 hrs with continuous use. The app is a great addition, letting me view the shots before I start recording.

It's easy to use. Takes great video. The app works well with it. It's small and tough.

We had it up until my truck was stolen. It worked wonders in water, mud, rain, monsoons, wind, trees hitting it, brush hitting it, underneath the truck, side of the truck, inside the truck, on rough terrain and through everything you could think of. Easy to use, it takes photos in mid video, easy to share photos and videos, great clarity, visuals are excellent quality. LOved It!!!!!

Great little camera I do off roading and it's always sweet to be able to re live the trails afterwards. Video is crisp and hasn't left me down once.

I purchased the GoPro Session for use on my bicycle to record cycling trips. It takes great video either stem mounted on the cycle or helmet mounted.
