This is my first Go Pro (hero 4 black version). I've held back from purchasing a go pro because I was never a fan of the perspective. I've loved the form factor and weatherproofing but the perspective was always a NO GO for me. It wasn't til I got 2 of my friends to get a go pro where I learned more of its features. The wifi to IPHONE, is a plus for those who don't want to get their knees dirty to look at the screen on the back (screen optional on BLACK HERO 4) When I saw that I could control and use my iPhone to start stop and change settings, I was more intrigued to purchase it. I wanted an underwater camera and timelapse camera and go pro was the perfect candidate. And when I decided to go forward on purchasing the go pro, I later found out that the free software "corrects" the perspective (not 100% but very close if you level the camera properly). I've used it almost everyday and love it's form factor. I would highly recommend it to those who are looking for a small form factor camera that fits in your pocket.

This camera is awesome! It's my first GoPro ever and I'm very satisfied. I use it on my FPV Quadcopter to get HD video. I have had a few crashes with it outside of the plastic case it comes with and it has survived pretty well. I do use a "Layer Lens" lens protector also. One bad thing about this camera is the Micro HDMI output. It will NOT Play 4K video through the micro HDMI cable. It only outputs 1080p. You have to use a card reader connected with a USB cord if you want to play 4k on your tv. Other than that it's a great camera for Video. It's not very good for pictures unless you have the LCD Backpack so you can see what your taking a picture of. I don't see why the cheaper Hero 4 Silver has an LCD screen and the more expensive Hero 4 Black does not.

Great for skiing, camping, golfing, fishing. All those things we love to do! There is a lot more to this camera than expected. For example, it would seem cold makes the battery drain rather quickly. We've had to read the instructions several times to get a clue. Then having to buy more attachments was a little frustrating. But, all in all it was a great purchase.

Love the quality of the camera, except the battery doesn't last long

This camera is amazing shooting 4K footage n photo quality as well just my down side battery life is really poor I bought an extra battery but is still not enough life on each battery is 1 hour or less depending what u r recording

This is the second GoPro I've ever owned, I love it! My girlfriend and I are very active so we use it almost daily. Don't let the compact size fool you, it captures better quality video and photos then most cameras, and the sound capture isn't bad either! I'm actually about to purchase another one for myself, my girlfriend and I are having a hard time sharing :)

I bought this product with the goal of using it on race track trips, motorcycle trips, and Paddleboard/surf adventures. Thusfar, the video has been amazing and. 4k playback and recording has already made for some entertaining pieces. Expect to see my videos soon enough with thousands of hits strictly due to the quality of the recordings and playback.

Need more battery life. Over heat the camera on records mode.

camera is great! Not so great on their app and doesnt come with an lcd screen. Would give out 5 star if it wsnt for the app.
