I had to tweak with out of box settings to make the output of product look professional enough and make best use of the product itself.

Great upgrade from Hero 3

One reason I upgraded to the Hero 5 Black was that it's waterproof without a case. I used the Hero 3 on some white water rafting trips and the audio was bad because of the waterproof case. I also like the image stabilization on the Hero 5. The touch screen is a huge plus for the Hero 5. Overall I'm very pleased with the Hero 5

With the right accessories it's the best cam.

Just be prepared to get lots of gear to deal with those different shooting styles.
