We bought this primarily to be able to take underwater video when we snorkeled, but we ended up using it for a variety of excursions while on vacation. The video quality both underwater and above water is great, and the camera is easy to use, very compact and easy to wear around your neck on a strap. We used it snorkeling, on a wave runner, and also up in the air on an open air bi-plane ride over the Florida keys. Videos transfer easily over WiFi to your phone and computer, and there are apps for editing tools. Great value for this type of camera!

Great camera.I found that the GoPro Hero5 had shockingly short battery life. If cutting-edge 4K is of the utmost importance to you, and your workflow is totally ready to make the most of HEVC and 60p, the Hero6 Black is an impressive package that lives up to the GoPro Hero legacy.

Best camera I’ve owned so far! The footage and audio is crystal clear! Only downside is the battery only lasts 2 hours but it charges in no time. Also since it records in 4K it’s good to get an sd card with a lot of storage on it if you want to be able to record for those 2 hours

The Hero5 Session has great video quality, but sound quality is somewhat lacking. That's to be expected with an action cam that's built with water-resistance as a main feature. Battery? I've gotten roughly the same recording times out of the Hero5 Black and Hero5 Session using apples to apples settings. The Session doesn't have a replaceable battery, so that might be a consideration. Charging times are greatly improved with the change to USB-C. I've owned one of each former GoPro Hero camera releases, but waited to purchse a Session until they built one with increased resolution options, FOV etc.. It was worth the wait.

Needed a way to shoot video of a car cruise and this was the perfect answer. Clamped to my front bumper and ran the camera from my iPhone. Got some great footage that looks way more produced than I had imagined. Fun way to shoot. Small, solid and and seems solid and easy to mount anywhere.

Pretty neat and compact. I bought this because others were talking about GoPros for trips, vacations and action adventures. It not too difficult to use, but I wish I got the upgraded one with a screen to view from the back for the extra money instead of the app on my cell phone. Mounting accessories are a must if you want to mount it on yourself or on an object to see a certain point of view. Quality and options for the GoPros are pretty neat and I would probably never use all the features on this. Battery life is okay not spectacular.

I use this to film motorcycle rides and it is perfect. The camera is lightweight plus you only have to push one button to turn on the camera and start filming. This is a great feature since I use this when busy paying attention to the road.

Perfect size. Easily mounts to just about anything and any where! Pictures are great quality! Can only imagine all the places that I will be using it!

This thing is small light and more user friendly compared to the older models of go pros. Battery should last longer.

I bought this not for the conventional reasons. I wanted to video my son's basketball games to show him areas he could work on for improvement. It worked well for that purpose EXCEPT the batter length did not keep up with what I expected. We would just about run out of batter in 1 hour game. Not what I was expecting. I am new to GoPro, so that could be normal or I might not be using the best way possible, but I was surprised about that a bit. App works well and picture is very good. Like the small portable nature of the camera

Amazing quality and perfect size! I used this camera while snowboarding in Breckenridge and the video quality is amazing. There are so many features I'm still learning how to use like the voice recognition and time lapse. I think it's great the go Pro is actually waterproof itself so you don't have to buy a Separate enclosure for it. I would revommend this to all my friends looking to buy a compact and impressive go pro.

Exactly what we needed for our trip to Mexico. Took great pictures and was small and light enough to carry with us. Works perfect in the water as well.

The one touch recording is the perect feature to add for recording active moments. The go pro 4 is great for slower paced activity, but i needed something that i didnt have to think about all the steps i needed to do, just to start recording. This is it. If you are a person who needs to see what your filming then this is not the product for you. I used it to record zip lining and love to use it while driving. Itisthisclose to perfect.

I love this camera! I take it everywhere, its small enough to toss in my pocket and go. This thing has had some hard drops and still works as good as the day that I bought it. Video looks incredible and I've had no issues with it. The battery life is my only minor complaint, but it works for everything I do, if you need more battery the Hero 5 might be the better choice.

I stopped using my old GoPro years ago because it was to much of a pain to remember how to change functions. This new model is amazing. I love the voice activation too. It works great not like Siri ! Lol. The quality of the picture is great too and it's nice that it's water proof. No more fogging from the case ! Just don't lose it ! It's that small that you might !

best one I believe not to expensive can still be mounted onto all of their accessories and great image quality while being waterproof.

The new Hero 5 Session with voice controls is the easiest to use GoPro ever. The elimination of all of the buttons from my old Hero 3+ made me more happy than I could have ever imaged. It device is still easy to configure with your phone and the new Qick app to edit videos is exceptional. Making it easy to put your videos in a usable format has never been easier or quicker. I have been very please with the output.

The camera captures great images and has such a small footprint that we could use for our in-car promotional videos with ease.

This was our first gopro purchase. For $399 it hit a good middle ground of price versus performance for us. Takes nice pictures, practically indestructible.Using wifi and my phone to control the unit is an ok option but runs down the battery too quickly if you're counting on using the gopro for the day
