I gave this as a birthday gift to a friend and they were absolutely thrilled. They use this for bike riding / skate boarding videos and love the ease of use.

4K 60 recording so worth it! But the real value is behind the 1080p/60fps streaming potential without having the battery inside. For anyone into streaming or making videos, GoPro has a quality product worth every penny whether taking it on the go for adventures or streaming at home. Get one now or wait til the next model comes out!

Great camera at a good discount now that the 10 is out. Very clear images with good compression to reduce storage requirements. The Hero has a lot of accessory options for mounting making it versatile for getting great shots. I researched knock offs but had to go with the original and the best.

This is the update that action and sports videographers have been waiting for. The front facing screen is great; the larger battery capacity is great, the larger touchscreen is great, as is the removable lens cover. It is an evolutionary change, but one that puts GoPro at the top of the heap of action cameras once again. The 5K video is a nice bonus.

Use this for blogging and YouTube footage mainly off-roading and dusty environments. Always works, excellent footage and quality. Imagine stabilization is amazing. I highly recommend this!

Very happy with this purchase and versatilty of the GoPro especially when I go snorkelling and diving. Lots of accessories possible, but I was happy with the basics that came with the free basic bundle. EAsy to review/connect via phone. Easy to learn and operate for everyday use

Its 2022, the number 10 is out, im still using this one. It still shoots in 4k. I love that when I export a 30 min video it breaks it up into 4 videos max, whereas my DSLR camera does a weird many little video break ups when exporting. Still good 4k able for my Tarot Youtube videos!

i watched all the You Tube Videos i could find since i have a Hero5 and bought a Hero8. The fact that the 9 will not overheat and shut down during a 2 hour recording or run out of battery were my deciding factors. I record my flying lessons and can't fiddle with the camera while i am Flying. i have had trouble getting it to startup recording by voice command and experiment with it mounted in the car. The extra large battery gives over 2 hours of recording.

I bought this for motorcycling and vacation videos. I couldn't ask for more. The stabilization and image quality compared to my Hero Session 5 is amazing! In the short time I've had it, I have filmed several rides, taken it hiking, and snorkeling. Glad I got it so I could document those things!

Overall great action cam, I upgraded to this from a HERO3 and I love it. Just wish battery life was better

I love this product overall as I use it all the time for hunting and fishing. My biggest concern is the lack of battery health. I feel like I'm constantly changing and charging.

Good quality. Not easy to use. Turn off front facing camera to save battery and get extra batteries if youre going for more than an 45 minutes to an hour. Needs a mount and an SD card so buy those when you buy this or you have a useless camera.
